I love Alien Vs Predator games, but the servers issues, the fact that takes forever to get in to a game and that the only thing you unlock are just skins for each species, made me exchange it for another game. I waited too long for this game and it isnt all it could be. They should take a look at AvP2 for PC and takes some notes, specially online. Back then different predators, marines and aliens had different abilities and that makes the game waaaay more fun.

It's still great in MP and SP. I just finished marines campaign. Even though on easy, it was hard because I was worried about ammo n stuff... I liked the part in the Weyland Yutani pods, because I felt safe there - no aliens, only easy to kill humans. And last level is just crazy.. Those who haven't play, there's a big, armored, walking surprise ;>

I've only played Aliens vs. Predator 3 on Xbox 360. The beginning of Marine campaign was a little like this. Only, you wake up on a fold-out bed in the dark, wounded, with only a pistol and a shitty flashlight to defend you from volitile Aliens. S: Scary.

there was a multyplayer mode on this game called predator tag it had a bunch of marines and 1 predator the predator would stay the pred until someone killed him then whoever killed him would become the predator a skilled predator could stay the predator the entire map without dieing it was so much fun trying to hunt and kill him to become him...unlike the new avp game where all species are equally matched and die easily at the hands of the other in this one the pred actually had a huge advatage

Something I noticed just watching this. The Alien vs Predator games all take place in the Aliens time line (being the future) when the movies take place at a present. As if the games just threw the predator into the Aliens world. And the movies threw aliens into the Predator world. kinda neat!

It's impossible to play online without a proper cd key, cause when you go online your cd key is checked to see if it's been registered before from another copy or if the cd key is valid. If you want to play online you have to buy the game.
