Absolutely fabulous! I heard this tune at the Cape Cod Celtic Festival in 2007 and was absolutely blown away by it. i took a video of Brenda and Kimberly playing it and I have searched the internet for a recording to no avail. Brenda won't you record this hauntingly beautiful tune?? Thanks for the utube video.
What a strong presence in the cape breton music scene. He will be missed by all dancers ., listeners schalars students friends. I had the pleasure of spending a few music summers in Inverness Cape breton. I never talked to a musician who did not play a tune or mention Jerry's name with awe and respect. His books of tunes have kept the cape breton fire alive for us . I feel the sadness all the way out here in BC.
Possibly the most beautiful tune i've ever heard and only just recently heard it played live. Was wondering if anybody knows of Lonesome Eyes recorded by anyone?
Vidunderlig! We have been listening to your music on a daily basis since we saw you and your son in Margaret Valley in Normaway last summer. Thank you so much for your update - and your music - good to know your spirits are up. Let's hope for the best.

Hi again, we loved this tune so much we looked for it everywere but can't find the notation... we are playing at a wedding in a few days and would LOVE to play this beautiful song as the bride walks down the isle. Where can we find the notation for it? It would mean so much to us! Thanks :) AND ALL OUR BEST TO JERRY!
Thank you so much for posting this video, we have been very worried about Jerry and have kept him in our prayers since learning of his health problems. He is a mot amazing fiddler and wonderful person! All the way from Vancouver Island, 'WE LOVE YOU JERRY', GET WELL SOON! The Bachands

Jerry, I am not a fiddle music lover by any means, but that tune brings tears to my eyes. Such a heartrending and pretty tune.
My husband and his uncle, Arthur Muise enjoy listening to your tunes! ;)
Take care.
