I would watch this movie all the time! this one and dark crystal too, but i liked this one the best. and at the time i didnt know who the hell david bowie was but i thought the songs were pretty badass. and i got into labyrinth again after we watched it in our english class last year XD
Still my favorite Henson movie, and one of my very favorite movies of all time. It was so clever and original and entertaining...I miss movies like this!
Labyrinth is one of the best 80s fantasy movies next to Legend, The NeverEnding Story, and Willow.
I remember I saw both Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal as a todler and almost forgot about them two Jim Henson movies until I saw both of them agian on Oddesy Network Channel (which is now Hallmark Channel), back in the Fall of 1999. Then in Winter of 2004, I bought both of them on DVD.

Gates McFadden deserves a shout out too.
Also, I could laugh at the phrase "the excitement of David Bowie" endorsing a kid's movie all day.
