I dont think so,beacause Legion is just a Geth Trooper,If they were planning to make his character the arch nemesis,they would atleast have showed him as Geth Prime,Plus as said during the game the Geth really have no leader in particular,everything is done through total consensus.....

So what i suppose will happen is that the "Heretics" will be our arch-nemesis while Legion's Geth will probably be by our side...This Seems More Likely

And about arch-nemesis... Watch the Legion part of that video again. "We do not expect fear, but we do understand how it does affect you." And then shooting in Shepard's direction. By a Sheapard-obsessed Geth assasin. :P

Actually speaking i suppose our arch-nemesis will be some new character bcause they haven't really reused many characters from Mass Effrect 1 in its sequel......so i suppose Mass Effect 3 is likey to have a whole new brand of enemies and maybe a new Species,,,but yes we can expect a lot of connectivity between the two..

After doing both loyalty missions from Tali and Legion, a cutscene will occur between Tali and Legion, afterwards, talk to Legion, and from that point on, he will actually explain everything ; ) On how far he has come to FIND Shepherd. In fact, you see that N7 red Armor sign on his right shoulder? It belonged to Shepherd's old Armor, right before she died ; )

Did these people design the game we played? Legion is not obsessed with Shepard. He's not stalking Shepard. And he's not breaking apart from the geth that support the Reapers- those geth broke off from the faction Legion belongs to.

That's my understanding of it. And the people interviewed have confused it.

Because Collectors are humanoid insects? And Resistance is a POS, anyway, so that comparison is just an insult to all the companies that are making GOOD games. I have played Resistance. It's average at best, if that. I'd rater play through Mass Effect 2 on Insanity with all my power deactivated, armed with only a pistol than spend a minute with Resistance.

actually it is true character-wise most geth need to be a part of a group in order to have a resonable amount of intelligence but Legion is unique and doesn't need to be accompianed by other geth be sentient

He's connected to other Geth remotely. There is a scene where Shephard is trying to find out who he is and he just keeps saying "we are Geth", he has no personal identity, hence Legion.

the collectors answer a question i had from the first game that was how do the reapers fill out the infantry requirement of their armada i mean if the reapers themselves are just ships how do they get down into the organics strongholds and flush them out? they can't so they have the collectors

Well, they did have an entire army of Geth already. I'm sure Sovereign would've thought of that before hand. Remember, The Reapers destroy organic life forms. They don't preserve them over a long period of time(which would be the case) even if they are used as infantry.

But on the other side of the coin, I think in one of the videos a developer or something suggested that the Collectors get their technology from the Reapers. But I that doesn't make sense to me for reasons stated before.

Recent video evidence confirms Legion as the 10th squad member.

The first being Sci vs Fi part 2 which shows Legion being carried (assisted walking) by Shepard and Grunt back to the Normandy while Thane covers for them.

The second being Art of the Game part 2 which features some information about Legion's animation--specifically how his "lenses" simulate facial expression--and some sound bites of Legion saying some helpful things that only a squad mate would say.

I did a little bit of research into this character legion. One, i think he is chasing you because you fought him before (Hence the big hole in its chest), how many Geth do you kill in Mass Effect 1? Two, because he is his own being, he might join your squad. Sence its mind is its own, you may be able to convince it to join your squad. Mass Effect 2 side note: If all the stuff you do in mass effect follow your character to mass effect 2, can all those random anomalies be explained in this one?

*SPOILER ALERT* Proof that Legion will be recruitable in the game:

Achievements

- Friend or Foe (10 points): Obtain geth technology (Recruit Legion Obviously)

- A House Divided (10 points): Hack a geth collective (Build Legion's trust level to 100%, if my theory is correct)

While there is no official announcement yet, I think these two achievements basically sums up the conclusion that Legion WILL join your squad.

You may scream with excitement now ;)
