I was two weeks clean but I fucked up went and got more roxy 3o , perks , tabs now I ran out and its my second day its 4am my legs ache shits, headache bet I won't slip again if I make it thu the night fuck this is the worst thing iv ever been thu, don't know why I sliped I just like that hyper feeling they give me I guess now I'm paying for it, its all good tho ill bounce back

Been opiate free and last dose of methadone was 65 days ago, started working out and will be starting school soon. Before working out I felt really lethargic but besides that it feels good to have that shit out of my body
I"m currently addicted to vicodin and Tylenol 3's. The vicodin I take 5 of them every four hours...the Tylenol 3's I take 6 every four hours. I never mix the two. I got hooked on them because of a back injury I sustained. At one time or another, I have also been on Lortabs, Percocets, and Darvocets. Painkillers are a BITCH to kick! I"ve never shot up or anything and I don't think I ever could...I have a phobia about needles.
Thanks a lot, and I really do know tapering down is not easy. Especially when ur dosing urself but I'm sticking with it and the biggest thing is the mental part and anxiety from not being a productive member my household. And it's crazy cause I've been as screwed up on pills for almost ten years and my family is oblivious to it at don't have a clue about me and pills! Idk what I should do next but I will continue my one day at a time of kicking this shit
Don't let the spikes in a tapering regiment throw you off. I believe they are necessary in order to give you leverage. Once you realize your mistake go back to your "pre-spike" dosage. The way I see it, tapering isn't pain free. It's merely a way to stay away from insurance companies and medical professionals sociopathic actions.

Um trying to get ok, but I'm still physically addicted but I'm still working the taper down , I've done it before and got down to 2.5 mgs of MD's and then hit a nite out with ppl I thought were friends and blew all my hard work away up my nose with 1 80 got me back in the vicious cycle! That was 4 yeast ago and now I'm trying again and down to 30 mgs a day and on Saturday I'll be @ 25mgs for a week! Thanks for caring
Before I started taking 80,s of oc I was taking easily 30 at a minimum if I'm lucky and exceeding 50 norcos in a day up to about ten at a time! Then went to oc and got up to about 20-25 80,s a day! I know it sounds unbelievable but it's the gods honest truth. The shit broke my azz, and I did the same exact tapper but with MD's and down to 1.5 in the morning and 1.5 in the evening after about ten years

Loil its funny that you cut a norco into 16 peices. How is that even possible.? Honestly, if your taking half a norco a day and can survive with that, then after 3 days of taking half you can just quit like that. You dont need to cut the pill into soo many peices.

I was on vicodin for 13 years 15 to 20 a day. I tried a few times to get off of it but the withdraws were to painful. Didn't want to go to rehab because that will follow you around for the rest of your life. So what I did was turn to the lord and got serious about it. When I gave it to him the only withdraw I had was couldn't sleep very good for awhile but I will take that anyday. Jesus is the way there's nothing on this earth that can take your withdraws away right away like Jesus grace try it.

Whats weird for me is my blood presure was perfectly normal when I went in after my third day of withdrawals. A few years back I was prescribed high blood presure med. because it was slightly high.I quit taking the blood pressure med. after half bottle.
I am ten days now off methadone.I still have withdrawals. Not nearly as bad as the first three days. I could only pace around my Apt. then lay down for a few minutes then back up and pace then take a hot shower then rest for 20 min. then back up pacing again. I have the poops still and cant sleep for more than a few hours at a time. I still have slight restless arms and legs which keeps me from sleeping. Music sounds so much more intense along with just about everything else.All I am PATIENCE.
I used oxy to come off methadone. 2 years methadone 80mg a day. I used 8 15mg oxys when first going thru withdrawal like the first 24hrs of withdrawal.I felt like hell death fury for 48hrs after taking the 8 oxys but it helped and oxys arent as strong as methadone.. You have to go thru the terror because your brain is working itself out. Try to think good thoughts Im starting to feel good vibrations in my mind now after the third day.Its giving me the chills thinking about it as I type.
Hey everyone, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $1000 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. i can't quit, i do have chronic pain, my knee flares up every few weeks, but my condition is some form of pancreatitis, meaning i have constant stomach pain, some days are worse than others, but every friggin morning and when i wanna lay down to get to sleep is so friggin bad, the thing is, i can easily go my 3 a day, bt when its there, right in front of me, i can't help but take one whenever the first wears off. im on day 3 taking just one a day and my gut feels like its on fire!

I have only run out a few times in the last 3 yrs but when I have the wd's seemed to kick in within 4-6 hrs of a missed dose & what I experienced was far worse than wd's from hydro/oxys. I've only done heroin a couple times so I couldn't say how bad the wd's are from it but subs are pretty bad. You are doing the best thing by slowly stepping it down b/c otherwise you would be extremely sick. I also hear that subs take twice as long to come off.
@ChristeenaB I Since I've been on subs for 3 yrs now I don't feel a high from it but it keeps me from craving any other opiates & I still need that or I'd just be back to blowing all my money on pills & feeling like shit. Some ppl say being on subs for more than a few months is bad but in comparison to what I would be on w/out it I am much better off. The Wd's from it are worse I think than oxys & hydro but you've made it half way you can make it all the way. Good luck & don't look back.

I would suggest any opiate addicts who need help to try suboxone. I was spending $100 a day (more than I made working) on pills just to not be sick. Now I do a half a sub. a day & have no cravings for opiates at all. I'm saving $95 a day & feel like a human being again.I feel I'm on the right path. It doesn't happen over night but the addiction can be beat. Good luck to everyone trying to quit.

Good post man ive taken oxy 4 3years due to 4 herniated discs and major back surgery leaving a steel cage drilled to my spine. I have pain everyday but now I am painkiller free. I think your way is smarter than how I did it lol I new years decided to stop cold turkey it lasted 5 days of hell but was overall well worth it. I also managed to heal my discs now. I also think weed should be legal it truely helps for aches. thanx for your time.

I'm a college student and I just recently had a huge knee reconstruction... tore the liagments in my knee during a basketball game... got perscribed percocet and got a lot of morphine in the hospital... i'm scared i'll get addicted but at the same time I need relief... thank you for posting it helps to listen to somebody else's story

It is poss to shoot dilaudid (sp?) IV. But please dont, pleases please please-was worse then heroin-all the problems of dope with the additional insanity of pills (literal insanity that is-after few day bender-tried to walk thru doorway and missed-repeatedly, broke toes-so bad, so so bad). I was a profesional opiate addict, 50 larocet and 50 somas a day atleast. couldnt pick my arm up in mornings until i had 8 & 8 in me, i was SICK. This is the method i used and it works, BUT you have to be STRONG and not take an extra on a bad day for it will set you back.Start where you are - count down and start making youself go longer each time in between doses. I have been addicted to opiates for 6 years. My choice pills are Hydrocodone , Opana, Roxycodone, Hydromorphone(dilauded), and MS Contin(Morphine). I have even been addicted to methadone...hell I have even been addicted to Tramadol, as well as benzos(xanax,valium)
What these doctors are interested in is money. They will give you unnecessary amounts of Opiates and Benzos and cut you off in a heart beat . In my opinion Suboxone is the way to go. Methadone has AWFUL addiction potential and Wdrwl.

Hi, I have been on those, and they are a better alternative to the true opiates, however, they are known to become addictive as well. They sort of give the feeling of opiate, or even smoking a Joint some say. Everything has a possible snare in it. Just be careful and try to keep in mind it's for the pain. I wish you luck, Lulu
I don't know dude that's a heavy burden. So that's like 4 goldies a day. Fucken ouch man. You may have to get down to one 20mg oc a day b4 you even think of tapering on beans.
Then you can taper with starting with vic 10/325s. That's what I started my taper with. Don't underestimate the struggle ahead, or you will get discouraged.
The video is basically my way of trying to help. The key is to keep trying. Never stop tapering. I talk about slip ups, they are bound to happen. You just have to keep trying. There's no magic formula and everybody has different levels of disaster they must cope with. I can only help with a limited scope. I wish I could do more.
I have a question though, i have never used any heavy drugs like heroin, cocaine etc...I smoke weed occassionally but i go without it for months and i dont crave it. So one of my family members got prescribed a painkiller for some chronic back pain called Tramadol, do you know it? AnyWAYS, I had a headache so i took one of those Tramadols and it made me feel really NICE and HAPPY, like never before, so i take them now like once a week i take a Tramadol.

ive been taking solpadol/kapake which is basically 100 mil paracetamol 30 mil codeine for about 4 years now but my problem is i always get pissed then have a few tablets and find the results to be quite excellent and relaxed to the max (even now im chilled) wot else is there better than this then wot is this oxycodone wot people keep mentioning? wot else should i try to be less harmful on my health than these kapake or is there better stuff stronger stuff??!!

I really commends you. I have been on numerouse painkillers, even oxycotin 30 mg and I would take four of those at once. I went to my dr. And told him I need help. He prescribed Cymbota, diazepam and darvacet. I have a bad back, but not taking the darvacet. It has been five days without and althouh I am takin what is prescribed, I am still have the withdrwls. For me the worst is the uncontrolable crying and the emotions. How long does this last?
OC 30s?? I always saw them in 10, 20, 40, 80, are they generic? Anyway, withdrawals are made even worse by subsiding for a brief period then coming back. Everybody is different of course. Depending on your length of abuse they could last 6 to 12 weeks. Then there are post acute withdrawal episodes which can last up to 18 months. Just get through it and you'll never have to go through it again. Good luck.
I think you may have been taking morph's there's no such thing as oxycontin 30 mg. There's only 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160 the 160 are red,and are very rarley prescribed.
no offense but this year they started making the oxy 30s and 60s i have no idea why but the are brown and the 60s are red. i was like you to i was thinking the same thing till my doctor put me on them. god bless
I'm on oxycodone 5 mgs 3 and a half times a day for chronic head pain. I'm trying to decrease but the cravings are so bad. Nobody understands how bad they are. I get so moody and irritable, cold sweats, chills, so fucking agitated beyond belief.
any addiction is hell. plain and simple. when i took lortabs and runned low i got moody and irritable. basic detox. but when the doctor put me on oxycontin for cancer then the detox went to hell. flu times 100. 14 days detoxing on some people. a lot of people give up on their first week. in which i call hell week its the worst of it. the second is just mainly come and go symtoms and cravings still. if home detoxing you have to keep youre fluids up. gatorade. vitamens everyday. good luck.

I think the overall idea of this video is good as well as a good tapering system to get off of opiates. i cant stress this enough...KRATOM herb. It will kill most if not all of your withdrawal and give you a nice opiate like buzz also. you have to buy the "maeng da" variety for its high alkaloid content. I purchased mine from a website called "the basement shaman" . If your suffering withdrawal check it out you will be happy you did.
10 days ago i had taken 30 perc. 5mgs. and quit cold turkey the next day. 1st day was bad, but the next 4 days were hell. day 5 all cramping was tappering off and now on day 10 i almost feel normal again. I was on mass amts of pills for the past 5 years daily. The worst part of coming off pills cold turkey is not being able to sleep at night. U should get a non-habit forming sleeping pill. All of a sudden my life doesnt look so bleak. tomorrows i will feel even better.
I didn`t see that dangerous wink 7 yrs ago vikes gave when I fell in love with them. They made everything a hell of a lot more fun. So I give it the bums rush, spent 3 days in shitsville, and an anxious rest of the week. 2 was less nasty, as was 3. Week 4 was bearable enough to get stuff done. Weed helped a lot, B1 400IU stopped my mind from racing, long walks got me somewhat tired for bed. I can`t wean myself, if they`re around, I`ll do em. Good luck to all. In Feb 2010 I will have been clean from opiate pain pills (more specifically Vicodin/Norco/Percocet). I was taking 13 5/500 vics at a time and totaling 60+ a day. Started out as 2 and over time worked it's way up to 13. I was puking when I didn't have them and was puking when I did so I figured if I was going to be sick even when I did take them then I was going to quit. Stopped cold turkey after sabotaging my connects and went through MONTHS of hell but it was completely worth it.

I have not had the roxi they have had me on the oxycodone for about 2 years now and I have went through withdrawals a couple times before with this crap. One great piece of advice I can give you is this. I drink alot of sodas and I love Mt. Dews but during this if I drink 1 I began to feel like I am loosing my mind, it has to be from the high sugar a caff content in the Dew so stay away from those and good luck with the roxis I wish you the best of luck.
To tell you the truth seriously im a 16 & I been doing 3-4 OxyContin 80s a day for 1 year and 2 months. 1 day I just thought about it & I was like DAMN im killing my self with this shit and so I did my last 80 at 3am & that day after I woke up I didnt do it and I felt sick. So later that night I had a high temp, all my bones were twisting, sweting, barfing, & alot more. Well anyways im 2 months sober & im happy as I can ever be and I feel alot healthier!!! Great job! I was off methadone (dosage of 85 mgs.) until I relapsed due to depression. Opiates are always with you on rainy days and sunny days. I am coming off Klonopin/Crack/ and 200 mgs. of Klonopin. Last night I took 400 mgs. of methadone and didn't get a nod due to the fact I am simultaneously getting off Klonopin.
Klonopin is difficult to get off of I recommend that you see a health care professional to help you with that as it is very dangerous to taper your dosage if you dont know what you're doing. Garrick PA-C
I just got outta detox last weekk, detoxing off oxy's and suboxone's. I still feel like shit, can't sleep, i just wish i knew how long this was gonna last.
I remember the withdrawal pains go away and come back with a very frustrating irregularity. You'll think it's over then WHAM! So be patient, it's worth every agonizing moment.
I know what you're talking about I lost my license to practice medicine because I myself got addicted to opiates and it nearly ruined my life I had my license suspended for 2 years I over came my addiction and now I deal with addicts and people in pain all day long it helped me to see what patients of mine were there for pills and who really needed them. Im much more cautious about prescribing now. About 90days is what it takes for cravings to go away.
I have never treated so terrible by my Dr. I broke my neck n 06 I was on pain meds before and stopped after surgery. I train w some of best fighers n world. I wnt 18 month after surgery hurt my back went 2 dr 8 mnts ago. been on oxy ever since. It's been 4 years now. I forget the details. I didn't avoid withdrawals. They were maybe just not as bad. The one thing I remember was that back of the neck shit, shaky legs and a few sneezing fits. Other than that I forget. Fuck those pills.
Today is my fourth day clean...I was taking about 100 milligrams of oxycodone every day for about eight months. Yeah my stomach was upset and i had diarreah and the shakes but honestly ive had stomach viruses that were way worse than this withdrawal pain. Smoking a little pot and taking mulitvitamins helps out in the first few days. It's not so bad. I was given a choice either stop using or i'm going to lose the girl i love. the choice was easy.
What did you do for the 2nd. and 3rd. day stomach ache. Everytime I've attempted to get off these damn things I can't get past the 3rd. day because my stomach hurts so bad I feel like just cutting into it with a knife or something. I've never had that type of pain in my life and I want to get off these things so bad I'll do just about anything. You are 18? stop NOW. trust me. Suboxone withdrawls will stop after 9 days. 3,4,5th day are difficult but YOU WILL GET BETTER. after 60 days it's like you never took anything. Sabotage your connections during this time and forget about sleeping...for 5 days for sure. Good luck kid

I"m currently addicted to vicodin and Tylenol 3's. The vicodin I take 5 of them every four hours...the Tylenol 3's I take 6 every four hours. I never mix the two. I got hooked on them because of a back injury I sustained. At one time or another, I have also been on Lortabs, Percocets, and Darvocets. Painkillers are a BITCH to kick! I"ve never shot up or anything and I don't think I ever could...I have a phobia about needles.

Especially when ur dosing urself but I'm sticking with it and the biggest thing is the mental part and anxiety from not being a productive member my household. And it's crazy cause I've been as screwed up on pills for almost ten years and my family is oblivious to it at don't have a clue about me and pills! Don't let the spikes in a tapering regiment throw you off. I believe they are necessary in order to give you leverage. Once you realize your mistake go back to your "pre-spike" dosage. The way I see it, tapering isn't pain free. It's merely a way to stay away from insurance companies and medical professionals sociopathic actions.

Um trying to get ok, but I'm still physically addicted but I'm still working the taper down , I've done it before and got down to 2.5 mgs of MD's and then hit a nite out with ppl I thought were friends and blew all my hard work away up my nose with 1 80 got me back in the vicious cycle! Before I started taking 80,s of oc I was taking easily 30 at a minimum if I'm lucky and exceeding 50 norcos in a day up to about ten at a time! Then went to oc and got up to about 20-25 80,s a day! I know it sounds unbelievable but it's the gods honest truth. The shit broke my azz, and I did the same exact tapper but with MD's and down to 1.5 in the morning and 1.5 in the evening after about ten years

I was on vicodin for 13 years 15 to 20 a day. I tried a few times to get off of it but the withdraws were to painful. Didn't want to go to rehab because that will follow you around for the rest of your life. So what I did was turn to the lord and got serious about it. When I gave it to him the only withdraw I had was couldn't sleep very good for awhile but I will take that anyday. Jesus is the way there's nothing on this earth that can take your withdraws away right away like Jesus grace try it.

I am ten days now off methadone.I still have withdrawals. Not nearly as bad as the first three days. I could only pace around my Apt. then lay down for a few minutes then back up and pace then take a hot shower then rest for 20 min. then back up pacing again. I have the poops still and cant sleep for more than a few hours at a time. I still have slight restless arms and legs which keeps me from sleeping. Music sounds so much more intense along with just about everything else.All I am PATIENCE.

I used oxy to come off methadone. 2 years methadone 80mg a day. I used 8 15mg oxys when first going thru withdrawal like the first 24hrs of withdrawal.I felt like hell death fury for 48hrs after taking the 8 oxys but it helped and oxys arent as strong as methadone.. You have to go thru the terror because your brain is working itself out. Try to think good thoughts Im starting to feel good vibrations in my mind now after the third day.Its giving me the chills thinking about it as I type.

Hey everyone, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $1000 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. i can't quit, i do have chronic pain, my knee flares up every few weeks, but my condition is some form of pancreatitis, meaning i have constant stomach pain, some days are worse than others, but every friggin morning and when i wanna lay down to get to sleep is so friggin bad, the thing is, i can easily go my 3 a day, bt when its there, right in front of me, i can't help but take one whenever the first wears off. im on day 3 taking just one a day and my gut feels like its on fire!

I have only run out a few times in the last 3 yrs but when I have the wd's seemed to kick in within 4-6 hrs of a missed dose & what I experienced was far worse than wd's from hydro/oxys. I've only done heroin a couple times so I couldn't say how bad the wd's are from it but subs are pretty bad. You are doing the best thing by slowly stepping it down b/c otherwise you would be extremely sick. I also hear that subs take twice as long to come off.

Some ppl say being on subs for more than a few months is bad but in comparison to what I would be on w/out it I am much better off. I would suggest any opiate addicts who need help to try suboxone. I was spending $100 a day (more than I made working) on pills just to not be sick. Now I do a half a sub. a day & have no cravings for opiates at all. I'm saving $95 a day & feel like a human being again.I feel I'm on the right path. It doesn't happen over night but the addiction can be beat. Good luck to everyone trying to quit.

I was a profesional opiate addict, 50 larocet and 50 somas a day atleast. couldnt pick my arm up in mornings until i had 8 & 8 in me, i was SICK. This is the method i used and it works, BUT you have to be STRONG and not take an extra on a bad day for it will set you back.Start where you are - count down and start making youself go longer each time in between doses. I have been addicted to opiates for 6 years. My choice pills are Hydrocodone , Opana, Roxycodone, Hydromorphone(dilauded), and MS Contin(Morphine). I have even been addicted to methadone...hell I have even been addicted to Tramadol, as well as benzos(xanax,valium)
What these doctors are interested in is money. They will give you unnecessary amounts of Opiates and Benzos and cut you off in a heart beat . In my opinion Suboxone is the way to go. Methadone has AWFUL addiction potential and Wdrwl.

Hi, I have been on those, and they are a better alternative to the true opiates, however, they are known to become addictive as well. They sort of give the feeling of opiate, or even smoking a Joint some say. Everything has a possible snare in it. Just be careful and try to keep in mind it's for the pain. I wish you luck, Lulu

I don't know dude that's a heavy burden. So that's like 4 goldies a day. Fucken ouch man. You may have to get down to one 20mg oc a day b4 you even think of tapering on beans.
Then you can taper with starting with vic 10/325s. That's what I started my taper with. Don't underestimate the struggle ahead, or you will get discouraged.

The video is basically my way of trying to help. The key is to keep trying. Never stop tapering. I talk about slip ups, they are bound to happen. You just have to keep trying. There's no magic formula and everybody has different levels of disaster they must cope with. I can only help with a limited scope. I wish I could do more.

I really commends you. I have been on numerouse painkillers, even oxycotin 30 mg and I would take four of those at once. I went to my dr. And told him I need help. He prescribed Cymbota, diazepam and darvacet. I have a bad back, but not taking the darvacet. It has been five days without and althouh I am takin what is prescribed, I am still have the withdrwls. For me the worst is the uncontrolable crying and the emotions. How long does this last?

OC 30s?? I always saw them in 10, 20, 40, 80, are they generic? Anyway, withdrawals are made even worse by subsiding for a brief period then coming back. Everybody is different of course. Depending on your length of abuse they could last 6 to 12 weeks. Then there are post acute withdrawal episodes which can last up to 18 months. Just get through it and you'll never have to go through it again. Good luck.

There are no 30 mg, 10, 20 40 and 80's as well as 160mg.

I think you may have been taking morph's there's no such thing as oxycontin 30 mg. There's only 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160 the 160 are red,and are very rarley prescribed.

no offense but this year they started making the oxy 30s and 60s i have no idea why but the are brown and the 60s are red. i was like you to i was thinking the same thing till my doctor put me on them. god bless

I'm on oxycodone 5 mgs 3 and a half times a day for chronic head pain. I'm trying to decrease but the cravings are so bad. Nobody understands how bad they are. I get so moody and irritable, cold sweats, chills, so fucking agitated beyond belief.

any addiction is hell. plain and simple. when i took lortabs and runned low i got moody and irritable. basic detox. but when the doctor put me on oxycontin for cancer then the detox went to hell. flu times 100. 14 days detoxing on some people. a lot of people give up on their first week. in which i call hell week its the worst of it. the second is just mainly come and go symtoms and cravings still. if home detoxing you have to keep youre fluids up. gatorade. vitamens everyday. good luck.

i feel ya man, i use to do two 80s a day sometimes, that dose wasnt lethal to me though cause i had such a tolerance, im with you tho man gettin off the pain killers was the hardest thing in my life, props to you!!

I think the overall idea of this video is good as well as a good tapering system to get off of opiates. If you have medical questions feel free to send me a message I'm a PA-C specializing in pain management so I do prescribe these medicines on a daily basis but I also know how to safely taper you off the meds as you know an abbrupt stop can sometimes be fatal. i cant stress this enough...KRATOM herb. It will kill most if not all of your withdrawal and give you a nice opiate like buzz also. you have to buy the "maeng da" variety for its high alkaloid content. I purchased mine from a website called "the basement shaman" . If your suffering withdrawal check it out you will be happy you did.

10 days ago i had taken 30 perc. 5mgs. and quit cold turkey the next day. 1st day was bad, but the next 4 days were hell. day 5 all cramping was tappering off and now on day 10 i almost feel normal again. I was on mass amts of pills for the past 5 years daily. The worst part of coming off pills cold turkey is not being able to sleep at night. U should get a non-habit forming sleeping pill. All of a sudden my life doesnt look so bleak. tomorrows i will feel even better.

I didn`t see that dangerous wink 7 yrs ago vikes gave when I fell in love with them. They made everything a hell of a lot more fun. So I give it the bums rush, spent 3 days in shitsville, and an anxious rest of the week. 2 was less nasty, as was 3. Week 4 was bearable enough to get stuff done. Weed helped a lot, B1 400IU stopped my mind from racing, long walks got me somewhat tired for bed. I can`t wean myself, if they`re around, I`ll do em. Good luck to all. In Feb 2010 I will have been clean from opiate pain pills (more specifically Vicodin/Norco/Percocet). I was taking 13 5/500 vics at a time and totaling 60+ a day. Started out as 2 and over time worked it's way up to 13. I was puking when I didn't have them and was puking when I did so I figured if I was going to be sick even when I did take them then I was going to quit. Stopped cold turkey after sabotaging my connects and went through MONTHS of hell but it was completely worth it.

congrats man i was addicted for 3 years and i was taking at least 30 viccodin a day... any opiate i would take... its hard to quit... ive been clean for 3 months... i took suboxone for 2 months shits hard to quit man...

ive been on roxicodone for about a year now and am finally down to 12.5mg a day..the withdrawal still sux everyday until i take that shit...i could kill my fuckin doctor....ive been asking for a weaker opiate like norcos so i can wean down better but he insists on the god damn oxy....i think he is getting kick backs from the pharmacuetical companies...dickhead

I have not had the roxi they have had me on the oxycodone for about 2 years now and I have went through withdrawals a couple times before with this crap. One great piece of advice I can give you is this. I drink alot of sodas and I love Mt. Dews but during this if I drink 1 I began to feel like I am loosing my mind, it has to be from the high sugar a caff content in the Dew so stay away from those and good luck with the roxis I wish you the best of luck.

To tell you the truth seriously im a 16 & I been doing 3-4 OxyContin 80s a day for 1 year and 2 months. 1 day I just thought about it & I was like DAMN im killing my self with this shit and so I did my last 80 at 3am & that day after I woke up I didnt do it and I felt sick. So later that night I had a high temp, all my bones were twisting, sweting, barfing, & alot more. Well anyways im 2 months sober & im happy as I can ever be and I feel alot healthier!!! WOW!!!! I'm very suprised that you didn't kill yourself doing that!!!! 80mg and 160mg tablets are for opioid tolerate patients ONLY!!!! Those are fatal doses in naive patients!!! NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! This can cause fatal respotary depression!

@zzzzfan omg, horrible withdrawals, I notice ever morning I feel anxious and achy all over till I pop a vicodin, I could just imagine the withdrawals from oxy, especially from 4 80s a day.

Great job! I was off methadone (dosage of 85 mgs.) until I relapsed due to depression. Opiates are always with you on rainy days and sunny days. I am coming off Klonopin/Crack/ and 200 mgs. of Klonopin. Last night I took 400 mgs. of methadone and didn't get a nod due to the fact I am simultaneously getting off Klonopin.

Klonopin is difficult to get off of I recommend that you see a health care professional to help you with that as it is very dangerous to taper your dosage if you dont know what you're doing. Garrick PA-C

I know what you're talking about I lost my license to practice medicine because I myself got addicted to opiates and it nearly ruined my life I had my license suspended for 2 years I over came my addiction and now I deal with addicts and people in pain all day long it helped me to see what patients of mine were there for pills and who really needed them. Im much more cautious about prescribing now. About 90days is what it takes for cravings to go away.

I have never treated so terrible by my Dr. I broke my neck n 06 I was on pain meds before and stopped after surgery. I train w some of best fighers n world. I wnt 18 month after surgery hurt my back went 2 dr 8 mnts ago. been on oxy ever since. MRI showed nothing. my dr came n room ystrday n was so damn mean rude. no meds because he said I missed my appt w specailist. Its not until wk from tomorrow 23 rd. ive been doin oxys for 4 years now and im just so sick of it but its so hard to sstop..ive stopped once b4 but relapsed..i do percs when i dont have oxys but its just so hard ...when i dont have nething i dont wanna get out of bed or nething plus i have a baby that i need to take care of and THANK GOD she not withdrawling from then drug ..thats how hard it is to get off them i couldnt even do it when i was pregant..so good for u man that uv stopped

It's been 4 years now. I forget the details. I didn't avoid withdrawals. They were maybe just not as bad. The one thing I remember was that back of the neck shit, shaky legs and a few sneezing fits. Other than that I forget. Fuck those pills.

Today is my fourth day clean...I was taking about 100 milligrams of oxycodone every day for about eight months. Yeah my stomach was upset and i had diarreah and the shakes but honestly ive had stomach viruses that were way worse than this withdrawal pain. Smoking a little pot and taking mulitvitamins helps out in the first few days. It's not so bad. I was given a choice either stop using or i'm going to lose the girl i love. the choice was easy.

What did you do for the 2nd. and 3rd. day stomach ache. Everytime I've attempted to get off these damn things I can't get past the 3rd. day because my stomach hurts so bad I feel like just cutting into it with a knife or something. I've never had that type of pain in my life and I want to get off these things so bad I'll do just about anything. So please if you know how to stop the stomach acheing, please tell me the remedy or something simply to stop my stomach from hurting. Thanks for the info

You are 18? stop NOW. trust me. Suboxone withdrawls will stop after 9 days. 3,4,5th day are difficult but YOU WILL GET BETTER. after 60 days it's like you never took anything. Sabotage your connections during this time and forget about sleeping...for 5 days for sure. Good luck kid

i been doing some searching on how to help my mom get off painkillers she takes 6 to to vics or percs if she can get them a day what i see her do is break them into small pieces and takes them cause she has trouble getting them down is that safe to cut pills in small pieces and that also i will have her watch this video and in hopes this will help her

great to hear! me too ( two years in July) how cool is sobriety?! incidently 5492514, dependency on Suboxone is one of the reasons i went to Waismann for detox, but its better than oxy and ive heard stories of tapering with various degrees of success..good luck!
