i like to work out my forearms and whole arms to get better at piano and guitar, and i didnt quite know how to work out the forearm without weights so thanks for the help man
@skkiittllezz You're welcome, before you think I make more of these kind of old videos you should check out my channel. This one's 2 years old, quality has improved big time.
@shoopdawhooperful I believe I putted in the subtitles you have to do 3 sets of 10-20 seconds squeezes as hard a you can. Watch some of my new videos as well. In color and HD. Way better quality!
I dont mean to sound like a dipshit because i dont know the name of it, but the thing you squeeze that work the hell out of your forearms. No idea what theyre called but ive been using them for the past year and my forearms are bigger and more cut out than my upper arm...
Lean muscle is the way to go. Big muscles are for people who isolation train. The extent of their athletic capability is putting a wife beater on and going to a tanning salon. Thanks for the vid buddah
ive actually been doing the same thing with a small table like thing with same type legs before watching this, your arms are around sme size as mine but my body is fine just the forearms lacking abit
@ellusimo Yeah, I'll keep working out. But my forearms have always been skinny. I don't really have the right build to get big forearms. This is an old video though, so I've improve by now. You are one of those who have bigger forearms to start with, so it's not that hard to get bigger forearms then me ;)
@mtv3123 For example, you could use 2 sticks for the exercises for the 'sides' of your forearms. You can also some big bottles of water if you can have a good grip on those. There are plenty of ways to do these exercises if you have a good look around you and be creative. Some exercises like the overhand and underhand curl can be done with a backpack full of heavy objects like books.
@XxApTeRxX You will get veiny if your bodyfat is lower. If you are having a lot of bodyfat you might have bigger forearms, but it is harder to see the veins. Seeing veins can also be a sign of not drinking enough. If it is warm and I haven't been drinking enough I can see my veins as well.
@jlvi13 I drink lots of water and stuff. So like, this will get you veiny even if you do drink a lot? I've researched that being able to see your veins doesn't mean your unhealthy just that you have good blood flow and you are healthy.
@XxApTeRxX It's also something to do with your genetics. Some people have big forearms others not, so the same goes with veins. Some people have very good visible veins, others haven't. Just don't focus to much on your forearms, but go for the heavy workouts like legs and upper back. With them you will also get great forearms strenght and forearm developement!
@CartmanLandZ That's a good idea yea, I couldn't do that with the chairs I have at home, because the back of the chair isn't closed so it would fall off. Being a little bit creative can safe you huge amounts of money, why pay a subscription to a gym if you can get almost the same results with things you already got acces to.
@jlvi13 how long did it take u b4 u saw results bcuz i was jwing im eating a lot better more water protein cereal for carbs and protein. anyways how long did it take b4 results came?
@gr1mreaper25 It takes about 2-4 weeks before you see the bigger difference, but it depends on how hard you train. Don't forget to eat 6 times a day instead of 3 bigger meals and keep training and resting a lot.
@jlvi13 will this wok for a skiny guy and should my diet be. 40-30-30? having about 40-60g of protein a meal. 60-80 of carbs, 20-30g of fat.plz reply.
@gr1mreaper25 It mostly makes your forearms stronger. Forearms are very hard to train especcially if you want to add some mass to it. It most of the time depends on your genetics. Some skinny people have huge forearms without training them, while others have to do a lot to develope them. I will send you a personal message on the dietpart.
you guys are seriously doing this?....you need heavy resistance to build big forearms, there slow twitch muscles.there built to handle endless easy repetitions without adapting
@youngstrength22 Well, you're right that you have to do some heavy resistance to get BIG forearms, but these exercises are more for beginners who don't want to use heavy weights. It's a great way to improve your wrist strenght without getting injured.
By the way, have you even tried it out? For beginners, this is very hard to do already.
It's intense especcially if you've never worked out your forearms. You know you have to start somewhere.
Depends on how your muscles are build up. Some people are lucky and have big forearms, others haven't (like me) and have to work really hard on them to see some difference. The most important thing is that you get stronger hands and forearms. It would take a few weeks to really see a difference I think!
and also bro how much time it takes so we can see difference if we do 3 times a week and grip everyday and how many sets of grip is good to do everyday ?
Well, that all depends on how you're forearms are build. I haven't got the luck that I can develope big forearms unless I train then really hard. It all depends on the individual.
I don't know what kind of grip you do. You do the towel grip or do you use grippers? And if you do, what kind of grippers would you use?
Usually I rest 30 seconds in between exercises, but not for forearms. I don't take rest in between them. I think forearms are the same as calfs. You have to burn them really hard to get some improvement.
Try to do like 4 sets of 30 seconds hold, or more if you can and slowly build it up until you feel you're doing well! The 4 sets of forearms is ok, try to aim for about 8-15 repetitions each exercise.
if u want powerful forearms so ur striking/punching power increases substantially look no further than BRUCE LEE who was a $arm fanatic his book "THE ART OF EXPRESSING THE HUMAN BODY", has a whole chapter on forearm importance and routines. U have to do many finger press ups,,only when u clench ur fist can u tell the improvement cos the harder u can clench the stronger the forearm is and thats whr devastating power comes frm..it All about the 4arm. Honestly u hav 2 be obsessed in developing them
I agree with you, although to much training won't give you bigger forearms. About 3 times a week will do enough and you can train your grip every day.
Man oh man, I remember working out before I had weights, it went a little like this, another thing you could do, is take backpacks, fill them up, weigh them, and use them for bicep curls. Or you can use water jugs for hammer curls. Don't you have any dumb bells? There's so many more excersizes to get you bigger with free weights.
I know, you have to be creative if you don't have weights. Now I do have dumbells, but I made this video for people who don't have them to show them you can get in shape without getting expensive equipments.
I think your awesome for being 17 and making videos to help others get in shape or keep in shape...good stuff fellar! Nice thinking too, I know I dont just have dumbells lying around the house...unfortunatley I have those huge chunky wooden chairs too! Keep up the good work...and way to go on the 2 fingered push ups!
The towel really works to build your grip and your forearm strenght. Perhaps you can use two wooden sticks or something to do the exercises. As long as they are long enough you should get the same result as with the chair.
me?...i just do manual laundry twice a week...its my work out :-)

how many times would you reccomend this to be done a day?
wombo369 4 months ago
@wombo369 Only 3 times a week. There is no need to do this daily and it won't give you good results if you would do so.
