Nice run, but you have not yet maxed out that turbo unless you're using a stock 6-bolt bottom end. That turbo is supposed to hit 44lb/min and I ran the same time at 36lbs/min.
Try a set of 9:1 pistons and see where it gets you. ; ) I guarantee it would be an 11.x. :D
i was seeing 45/46 lb/min so the turbo was inface maxed out,
i have switched to a Holset HX35 and am much happyer, faster spool up, better throttle responce, and i am flowing more air at 21psi on the HX35 then i was at 27psi on this GT10
once again I feel silly for spending so much on internals for my 7-bolt to run a 12.2. Haven't put a big turbo on it yet like you have, though. Evidence once more that there's nothing wrong with a good 7-bolt!
Oh? I'm running 24 PSI on 9:1 pistons, knock free. I think it's higher than 9:1 on a boosted setup where you'll really start running into problems. Stock 2g pistons are 8.5:1, so it's not a big step with compression ratios, but forged pistons are dozens of times more resilient than cast pistons where knock is concerned, and usually capable of handling small counts without any ill effects whatsoever. But with 60 & 70-trim turbos over 30 PSI, yeah lower compression ratios are better.

wow. that's impressive for stock.

lol yea, and the motor has 128k on it lol
im planning on building a 98/99 7 bolt soon though

a 9:1 compression would not let you turn up the boost and you will never get rid of knock unless you keep the boost down
