  • Great upload-haven't seen this in decades -scared the shit out of me (particularly this segment and the head from the tree) when I saw it when I was 8 or 9. That face creeped me out for years afterwards...Loved that eyes-popping back open bit...

  • Where is segment 1?

  • I don't know why I'm watching this.. I'm gunna scare the shit outta myself aren't I? lol

I'll try to get to the end of this stuff. God I miss the atmosphere of these old cult horror films of the 60s. The over reliance on CG has kinda ruined horror.

  • I saw this movie when I was 8 or 9 back in 1972 or so. I have never forgotten it. It scared the living daylights out of me!

  • I first seen this 10 years ago and the dead woman creeped me out even though I was in my thirties at the time.

  • Same here, Holiday88! It always creeps me out and I'm into my 40s now.

  • YOU DONT STEAL FROM THE DEAD.

  • You're right. And it's hard to think of another movie which AIP has cut as extensively as BLACK SABBATH. I recently bought a dvd projector so I can finally see this eerie classic on a "big" screen, as it should be experienced.

  • One of the best horror short stories ever..A lesson how to make good supernatural horror movies..Really scary..Thanks for post! Cheers.

  • good god that face is creepy

  • i agree pegleg the dead woman's face really freaks me out when i watch this it really is very disturbing!

  • The dead woman's face is seriously one of the creepiest "scary faces" I've seen in a film. I don't usually get scared in horror films, but if I saw that face, I would RUN.

I forgot how well paced and truly scary the stories in this anthology are; so very well done!

  • THIS IS CLASSIC HORROR.

  • Although I already have this on DVD, thank you for uploading this and sharing it with the world. Not only is this particular segment one of the creepiest things I've ever seen, but the movie its from is also one of the BEST movies I've ever seen.

  • Great movie all-around, but "A Drop Of Water" scared me more than you can imagine as a kid. Best story in the movie, true horror film making, and really, one of the great all-time horror flicks. The make-up on the dead woman looks as creepy as ever.

  • I saw the movie over 30 yrs. ago and this particular segment has stayed with me always.

  • Nice to see the appreciation here for this unrivalled classic. For me it is one of the all time scariest films; the slow building sense of impending doom, the vivid color, the palpable fear building to sheer hysterical terror...indeed a very prolonged mindfuck that made a strong impression on me as a kid. This is A+ horror at its very best. And this film is the namesake for the band!

  • "The Drop of Water" is as bad a mindfucker as the shower scene in psycho, but it fucks your mind even longer. I wasn't the same for days after I first saw it as a kid. Can't believe I found this here! Thanks Josh! Now I can get my mind fucked all over again...

  • Thank you!

  • And thank you. I've been looking for this movie forever.

  • Where's part one then?

  • You're right! I neglected to post the opening following Karloff's intro to the "Drop of Water" segment. I will get the missing part uploaded as soon as I can...thanks!

  • Movie scared me as a kid and it still works...

  • It's a classic! Thanks for commenting!

  • Is this the first part?

  • It's part 2.
