To learn to yell like that and then even sing at all after doing so is hard. Even if you do bring it up from the diaphragm it is so unnatural to stress your vocal chords by yelling like that. A vocally challenging song is not ONLY based on vocal range. This type of grunge "yell", phrasing, of course range, and many others can make a song extremely difficult. As for "yelling" this is one of the hardest if not the hardest made yet. *and is still aesthetically pleasing.
