Mine was with Washington. Ovechkin winds up for a slap-shot from the point, and waits for one of the Detroit players to dive. The guy slides really far away from the shooting lane, and Ovechkin unloads the slapper on the guys face. The puck bounces off of the guys face right to Backstrom who roofs it :P
Once where I nailed the opponents defenceman on a delayed penalty call (against me) and he accidentally put it into his own net (I found it funny as hell).
The other time was again on a delayed penalty against me where the opponent fired a huge slapshot, missed my net completely and it then proceed to corrail around the boards and down the ice into the net (don't ask me how)
I had a similar moment (though not the distance-wise) - on a delayed penalty in the opposing team zone, goalie left for bench, guy with puck comes out from behind the net and gets a head-on check, falls and puck comes off hist stick right into his own net.
That happened to me some guy had the puck and his goalie came out since i got a penalty and he did that thing were you shoot it backwards instead of forwards on accident and he scored on himself
LOL... that sucks if that was against you, or incredibly sweet if it was for you.
Flukiest goal I've seen: Other team clears the puck hard on a PK, it hit the end boards and bounced off my goalies back, and went in to give the other team the lead with 34 seconds left. All I could do was sit there in shock
i won the face off tried to dump it and hit my players skate and went top corner in my own net beet that with 5 min remaining but i scored then i lost in shootout
Ive made a goal exscactly like that o_0 On NHL 08. Played against my friend, had the puck on the right side in his zone when he got a delayed penalty. He tackled me into the boards, and the puck went into my own net.

I've had that only happen twice.

Mine, was pretty fucked, i ducked down, with the L1 butoon, the block the shot, and it hit my guy ass, and bounced over my goaliesd head hah
