  • My trainer suggested a set of 16 reps. And don't bend your back too far when you raise it back up. And wipe down the ball with a disinfectant spray or put a towel between you and the ball. You'd be surprised at the bacteria and fungus that can grow on those damn things.

    In tons of ways, having a strong lower back equals agility, posture, core strength.

    Think about how important your SPINE is in your everyday life...

    Why wouldn't you want to strengthing the muscles that support it ?

  • Hey, I make parkour. You know climbing and jumping around and do some flips....

    I train every day. and then suddenly i've gotten very very bad pain in the lower part of my back. then i had to stop doing any sport for 3 months and now I'm good. but my doctor said i should train my back before i restart training very much. so what do you think are the kind of exercises i should do? and also abs workouts?

    it would be so nice if i get some answers. ;)

  • @DaBhaalspawn ball has more comfort and is able to move with your body, but a bench just stays still

    Hmmm... and wouldn't that be better? The bench is hard, forcing you to use your muscles more to lift yourself up.

    I don't think the ball is beneficial unless you have some sort of back problem.

    Yes, after making that comment, I did do some research, and apparently, the bounciness of the ball makes your muscles work more, because they have to do the job of stabilizing your body.

    So, the bench exercises would be better if your intention is to isolate the back muscles completely, which I really don't agree with.

  • oh i forgot say how can i train my back so when i do pushups my back does fall down??? cause when i do some pushups my back begins to fall down so itæs curved after the first 3 pushups

  • @masterml10 In this case your back strength is not the only issue. It is definitively that your the muscles in your abdominal region are weak. Try to exercise your abs and you will not only a notice that your pain will go away, but also you will gain strength.

  • just don't use heavy weights and focus more on endurance than strength workouts like aerobics.... its better to start working out when you hit like 16/17 when ur growth slows

  • there are some more healthy and advantageous sorts of activities than working out, at the age of 14 or 15. i would advice you swimming. besides the fact that it will contribute your growth, you'll activate and develop all systems of your body, muscles, lungs, stamina, backbone, neck. there's nothing better than swimming. working out is good as an addition. you have to help your organism grow first, only then strengthen it.

    worst thing that can happen is that you'll stay stupid forever ... so i think you'll be fine

  • @agodzadza95 odds are you are ready for a growth spurt, you will want to focus on great technique, muscle control and muscular endurance, go for a weight that you can do 20 + reps with and do aprox 4 sets per exercise you shouldnt rest for more than a minute inbetween sets and always finish with cardio of some kind

  • @agodzadza95 excercising helps you grow... Olympic athletes start when they're like 6-8 years old..but yet there still 6foot.. All i can say is concentrate on form an you'll be fine..if your not genetically predisposed to be tall it'll help you :)

  • @passion4profession Hi, i wish you could expand your @home back excersises for both the lower and upper back, becuase its important to strengthen your back equally as your abs (front core muscles)

    Therefore i really wish you could come with a full program of back exercises to match your fantastic "ABS 8min Program"
