From the most ancient times there were blacks in Greece. The original Greeks were an Ethiopian colony, in fact the old gods of the oldest Greek civilization were Ethiopians or Abyssinian. Ancient Greece was never a Euro-Homogenous society except in Hollywood and the writings of Nazi historians. The whole mis-educated world today is one great false racist Hollywood construct which should be burned, as Greece and Rome was,then reconstructed with the concrete of TRUTH..

@Righteous1up The Abyssinians were the Bassa or Balanta people. They can be found in current day Guinea Bissau or Cameroon ( and several other locations). They maintained their history within the ethnic group and it is fascinating.

The Greeks did not consider Memnon the greatest warrior of the Trojan War; that was indeed Achilles. Memnon was the last great warrior that Achilles killed before he himself died.

Gregory Walker talked about his research into the Greek mythology of the Trojan War. The Ethiopus, one of the missing books from the Trojan epic cycle that includes Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, includes the story of the hero Memnon, king of the Ethiopians, who came with an expeditionary force to help Troy against the Achaean invaders. Gregory Walker is the author of Shades of Memnon: The African Hero of the Trojan War and the Keys to Ancient World Civilization
