I prefer the larger surface area of the slices, as it's easier to take a spark. I think next time though I'd use something like a pencil sharpener.

go to the Army Navy web-site and you can buy (maya dust) it is pre-shaven maya in a decent sized tin.

@fatlizzard19 Thanks for the comment, but like I said in the video I've used the maya dust in the past and it's total crap. I've used the sticks extensively now, and would never consider using the pre-made dust any more.
