Yeah, corners and crosses really piss me off. I'm not a bad defender on FIFA but the game dosen't do you any favours. My defenders are close to the opposition players but the marking is terrible. My mate is shit at FIFA, though he won't admit it, and the only way he scores against me is through corners and crosses. On FIFA 9 + 10 me and my mate use to beat him 15-0 but now it is harder to score goals through open play. I don't do head to head anymore due to rage quitters.

Like when you said you concede a lot of goals from crosses, if your player is running near him, hold LT (L2 for PS3) and move the left stick, and quite often your player blocks the cross from getting into the box. It works with shots sometimes too.

I think your problem with defending crosses is because you sometimes charge your defenders which can open up a chance for a thruball, then leaving your defense one man down to defend the cross. That's just my analysis because I have the same problem sometimes. Anyway great vid!

Anto, I'm not amazing or anything, but there is actually a really easy way to keep out the crosses. All you have to do is keep your center back in the middle and just fight for the better positioning to keep out the header.

I score lots of crosses and don't let in many, the key is to keep your centre backs right in the middle of the box and stop the header, don't bother trying to stop the crosser or use circle or b to bring another player to close them down while you sit in the middle.

Haven't given up a goal on a cross in ages. Best way to stop giving them up is to block them and if that fails, jostle (L2 LT) into the offender while tapping clear

The trick to defending crosses is control your CB and hold B to make your wingback tackle the crosser. That way you have a defender on the guy in position already and you're more likely to win the header. then just spam B to clear it away because whoever presses the button closest to the ball's arrival wins the header most of the time.

I agree the crossing in this game is fucking bullshit because nine times out of ten there attackers somehow jump higher than your derenders and also i play people on ultimate team and they'll have like nilmar or pato and then theyll cross it in and then nilmar or pato will jump higher than my defenders and my defenders are like 6 foot 2... pretty much to sum it all up crossing is fucked up !!
