The only advice i can give you on art is to do as you wish. Art is individual, and screw anyone who says it looks horrible. However, if you're going for realism and you are bad on proportions, sort of like some of my art (i.e. the licker, and Leon), go to the library and look for books on proportion. Or just wing it, after all like I said art is individual, and if you think it looks good, so be it.

I can't do that as well, a normal pose takes me FOREVER to draw, so trying a different pose would fuck me up completely, I do characters by looking at a source, not from mah head, if i do it from mah head, then it will be my style of drawing, which is cartoonish :p
