df,df+p is what scrubs execute to spam dps. it is useful sometimes though for example when following up seth's dps in the air; easier than doing the actual shoryuken motion.

I know it's lame, but I had problems executing qcf ultras. Trying to hit the corners helped me a ton and I found the way you hold the stick to be a lot better than the way I was holding it too.

It's kinda embarrassing not being able to execute simple moves, but I've been a pad player my whole life and I'm new to sticks so it's expected. Still having played fighters for years and not always being able to pull off certain moves with a stick felt like an erectile dysfunction, man

There's actually a shortcut for the dp in sf4 that helped ma ALOT i learned from a vid with arturo sanchez........if you instead of the f,d,df motion u can actually double tap diagnal towards your opponent and punch it will come out every time.

thats not a good idea because double tap down forward isnt actually a DP, you need at least 3 inputs for a DP. what you're doing is hitting down forward, down, down forward because its difficult to not hit down but its actually not a DP and imo its a pretty bad habit when down forward down down forward gets you the same thing, lets you do it from crouch, and you know what you're hitting. df-d-df also works in third strike and maybe some other games!

@ocping Dude, read my other posts. An SRK needs 3 inputs, the easiest way to do it is df.d.df. Go to the link I posted or try it yourself with the inputs on in training mode.

I cant tell you how much that helped thanks alot. I was always told the DP motion was forward + qfc and always messed it up. Forward down down forward helps me out a ton thanks agian.
