@nyboy1046 - A very simple method ( but time-consuming, about 30min ) is, to crawl under the truck and wait for her. Ignore the haven-troopers and concentrate on the Beast. My weapon of choice would be the M14 sniper-rifle with silencer, so the troopers can't hear you firing. The beast often walks slowly in the background, left to right or vice-versa. Hit her, and she will open her canopy, to aim and shoot at you. This is your chance, to give her headshots that take a lot of her life.

No. The MGS1 section isn't added to your time, hence it's removal.

So lemme get this straight, when you fire a weapon, the enemy is attracted to where the bullet hits and not to the muzzle itself?

It's dependant upon the distance between you & the enemy.

They can be attracted to both. It depends how far you are away. If you're close enough they'll even hear a suppressed weapon, and if the bullet lands nearby they'll also hear the shot. If they hear the muzzle and the bullet they'll know they're under fire and call an alert.

also, you know when the gekko came down and u had to distract it, after u killed it, why did it take like 5 seconds instead of the 2 minutes or so where u had t wait?

Because the timer only continues if the Gekko is still "active" It's a shame it doesn't work for the Gekko battle when Raiden is fighting Vamp.
