I have had a bottle of bug-bond which is a good year old and it's still o.k so I would say no but I have had to replace the top as I do hit it with the uv light from time to time and set it..
That is a great fly Davie! It has been a while since I have been able to check out your videos here on YouTube and I can say with confidence that you are still the best! Good to see that hat is still making the videos as well. :) Happy Holidays Davie!
Thats Very Kind of you but I feel like you have given me too much with very little in return.
I feel really guilty because of all your help and advice you have offered me aswell as the flies you gave me to help me get started early this year and now the book and i havn't repayed you.
When would be the next time you are working or tying at the Angling Center?
You make fly tying more enjoyable than fishing! Could you recommend some sites for cheaper materials? I am reasonably new at the sport and not too good but I still really enjoy fly tying!
Thanks, Paul
Ps. i've seen your son's channel and he's very talented!
@DavieMcPhail Hi Davie, I really like tying palmered flies, traditional wet flies and i wouldnt mind starting to tie some salmon flies just because they look really good, but the capes and feathers I have are not great quality. Would saddle hackles be better for these?
Hi Davie, great fly nothing but perfection, we expect nothing else when watching your videos, over the months i've watched dozens of fly tying videos and in my opinion your mastery of fly tying is by far the best, please keep up the good work. Regards Alan
Hi Kristian, I'm going to be there for the both days, I'm looking forward to it so yes drop by and I'll tye you a fly...ATB Davie

Hi Davie, I enjoy your Video's.
Does Bug Bond begin to cure in the bottle like superglue does after being opened. If so how long does it last from being opened.
Cheers Nigel

Hey Davie,
What was the hook you were using on this fly? Manufacturer and size please !!
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,
The hook I used was a fulling mill super grub size 10, it's a very strong light wire hook ideal for a few patterns..

Hi Davie,
Great looking Pattern.
I've finished the book you gave me. I ready all the part about salmon fishing and the dressings for the Classics.
I really enjoyed it.
When would be an available time to return it to you?
Best Regards and Thank You!

Hi Paul (McBeever2k9),
I use saddle hackles mostly for the body of all my palmer patterns now, Metz, Whiting, Shannon and Collins hackles anyone of these would do..
