Hey man, nice kit. I have an S Classix on order and I'm looking forward to having that baby in a few weeks.
I wanted to ask you something. My dealer is throwing in a bunch of free heads with the kit. I've tried the G2s and love them. But the guy said they'll only last a month at best. Is there any truth to that? How long have your G2s lasted?
wow, you got a real great sound!! i'm looking for a sonor kit, but didn't know, if i should buy a delite or a s classix - until i saw your video! thx!!!! :)
I'm not Portnoy because I haven't played quads for twenty years.
s0urabh, the rack toms are 8x7" and 10x8" with coated G2's on top of clear G1's (Evans). Thanks - you will absolutely not be disappointed with an S-Classix.
what sizes are the drums? and what heads are you using? i love the 2 rack toms, they have a sound that i've only ever heard in sonor drums. this has convinced me that my next kit will be a sonor s classix. nice playing too. thanks for this video.
i love the sound of the kit. esspecially i'm on my way to get a new kit for me, and for my choice ( i would like to play on a sonor and i just like to try delite or s classix ) i just want to ask you, if you are impressed by this kit?
These drums could not sound any better. In comparison, a Delite would sound slightly louder, warmer, less articulate, and very slightly less resonant due to the re-rings. Both Delites and S-Classix sing like choirs. You won't be disappointed with either, but which just depends on the music you're playing and your taste.
How would you say these drums bear up in a jazz-orientated situation?

Also, what are you using on your snare and bass?
