John Walsh had a terrific boss who helped the family and stood by them, gave John time off of work in trying to find Adam, gave him the reward money needed in the search etc,. he did more for John Walsh than the justice system did. In my eyes, the guy's a hero.

It's very likely that Toole did not kill Adam Walsh. The cops never had a shred of evidence to support it. The piece of clothing they supposedly found at Toole's place was 'of the same type' and something similar could probably be found in one house out of every three anywhere; they never actually identified it as something he ever wore.

Closing this case was a sham, but probably a good one, because they were never going to solve it, and I think the closure for the Walshs was a good thing.

Toole provided information that only the killer would have known. The coroner stated that Adam's head showed evidence of blunt force trauma. Toole admitted to hitting Adam in the face when the boy was noisy. Information that was never released to the general public.

Toole 'confessed' to over 100 murders - the majority of which he 'provided information that only the killer would have known" yet was proven that it was impossible for him to have done the crimes.

These cops were asking questions like "You didn't happen to hit him anywhere, did you?" Leading questions, and ignoring inconsistencies.

@tagcheeta1992 They only found his head near a creek in Florida and they decided it was Ottis Toole in late 2008 and the case closed. I don't believe Toole commited Adams murder I think it is someone that the FBI hasn't even though of, just some person.
