I went to see Brian on 21/12/09. It was freezing. I got to Parliament Square and began looking for him. I seen the arse end of a body sticking out of a tent. "Do you know where Brian is?" The head materialized and it was Brian. He looked cold. "Ah Brian, I have come from Manchester to see if you need anything. Clothes, a drink perhaps. What do you want?" He looked at me and said "To get off this fucking pavement!!" I nearly pissed myself with laughter.

I was so glad to see Brian win this award, I got the chance to spend three days with the guy and make film about him. Its was an inspiring experience that I will never forget.
If you get the chance check out the film (2000 days) on my channel it was filmed on Brian's 2000 day anniversary of being on the street out side the Houses of Parliament.
