I'm planning a trip just because my great grandmother is from there. They have the gaul acting like that, maybe it's that overall ignorance they embrace why their country is in a state of bankruptcy. I would speak to her supervisor and also write a letter to the Director of the agency. I have never gone to get a Visa but in the US a passport is good for 10 years so there is no way that anyone would have the same hairstyle as in their 10 year old passport photo. I would stress that your photo was only 1 month old and that she was purposely rude and condescending.
I would have asked to speak with her superior and then let both of them have it. How dare she? She isn't any type of police man or even official. She's a DESK CLERK. And that is a poor representation of herself and whatever country you are in. I would have went IN on her BS as part of a long line of racism that people contend with every day, that shouldn't happen here.
You did the right thing by walking awa & being the bigger person. I don't think i would have reacted the same way, lol.
