if i wanted to go to college and follow an art program what would it be called cuz i know theres stuff for painting sculpting or wutevs but for sketching or drawing like this idk which program or kinda school im lookin for
@TLSaphireWolf you're gonna find that in almost every college and even though drawing like this is what you're looking for expanding on you're art talent is a must in order to find your "style" of drawing, BUT i'm from jersey and there's a school here Joe Kubert School Of Art that is a technical school that only helps in cartooning and a bit of graphic arts, other than that from what i know u got the art institute and ny school of art

@themattwithamouth i draw pretty good but i have never had an art class but im still no natural some come out good some don't but i do know some kids my age that are complete natural (some dont even read comics or like art) ps im 12 and got nothing but a #2 pencil
I would have had her back turned toward the reader a little more and had her looking over her shoulder at a much more dramatic angle then you demonstrait here.
This is another thing to point out that the position the body is drawn is can be weak or dramatic or even drawn a little exagerated for effect.
Man it's really tough, I got 2 books in the works with my friend kenny, we own our own comic book company. And he wrote all the parts to the books, and now I have to draw it. It's fun, but really hard.
@animehobo We are putting our books on deviantart and we have the cover to our new superhero story: Vigilante Jusitce up, along with my Ed Edd N Eddy Die Hard pages.
making a graphic novel is 10 times harder as you have to have a more indepth story to it and its is publsihed in thicker books that last longer through a series and not episodes...i have to get started on mine soon
At the end of his life, the deadliest gunfighter of the Old West is given a choice: Hell or redemption. He chooses redemption and God's Archangel transports him to modern day Los Angeles to serve bloody, frontier justice on the worst dregs of society.
Wow, this was so informative! I've been trying to figure out where to start with comic making, and you've really put it down simply for me! I couldn't figure out what sort of paper to use and stuff like that. And I actually never thought of the whole mirror thing! WHat a simple, great idea! Thanks for posting!
i got good from learning little thing like draw hair, braids, draw hands, feet, face, the bodys come easy after each peice is eay everything else comes to you. focus on you own stuff and you'll gain your own style.
@Flairbrusher Just so you know, most of the stories that you come up with is from existing sources. You might get the speaking from conversations you had before and you might get them from other stuff.
a good start is to watch and observe how the pros draw or color, then you'll get thé inspiration to keep drawing knowing that some day you'll be even better, maybe?!
Niceeeeee!!!
