Hi and thank you! Well I'm so happy this video can be considered a tutorial! LOL! I hadn't even thought of that! I'm SO HAPPY you liked it! :) I glue the pieces of my figures together with edible glue which is a mixture of tylose powder and warm water. Aine2 here on YouTube has a great mini-tutorial on how to make it. :0)

Hi! Thank you! The eggless cake recipe was found on cooks dot com. If you google eggless cake it's one of the first recipes that comes up on the search. If you watch some of my other videos (like the mardi gras cake) you will see me airbrushing one of the tiers. Super easy! :0) Glad you liked this one! :)
Awesome work, as usual Laura. Any tips on standing figurines? Do you have a understructure to make Mickey stand. I am really afraid to do a standing figurine and could use some advice. Thanks in advance Laura.
Thank you! My secret to staning up figurines is majorly long skewers through the legs and all the way down into the cake. I dry them on a dummy cake with the skewer inserted from the get go. That way when it's lifted up, the skeweres come out with it and I just insert it into the cake. :0)
Hi laura, what did u use to make the balloons shiny and the head of micky colored black?? thanksss..
msmommycarol 3 months ago
Hi. Vodka for the balloons and black gel food color for Mickey's head. :)

How do you do the balloons on this cake? Thanks!
jesso75 8 months ago
They are made out of gumpaste (a.k.a sugarpaste). Just roll them in my hand and shape them and then add a skewer. :0)
