I have travelled a lot and I can say that's true, there's no food like ours.
And I'm opend minded about that, I like pizza and all that stuff but the variety and the quality of food here is incredible. It's always a pleasure visiting other cities to taste their food here.

saw the last episode yesterday (in madrid, with the cook-off between all 4 of them). i was hoping for a tour of the royal palace with juan carlos, but sad that didnt happen.
this was my fav show on TV right now and im definitely gonna miss it. im definitely going to visit spain in the future (i just dont know where to begin!). looking forward to the repeats, i think i missed the first 2 episodes.

well this is the misconception you americans have about fashion. You don't need to wear expensive or special design clothes to look very fashion and elegant. Jeans are very very elegant too if you wear them with the correct clothes also in spain and in europe jeans are very very common to wear them at night or as an elegant clothe.

Interesting series. I've caught episodes serendipitously and found it good overall.
A little too much time spent at dinner tables, though. I almost feel awkward watching people eat so much. There could be more time spent exploring how the food is prepared and less time listening to dinner conversation and watching people stuff food into their mouths.
In contrast to others, I like Gwyneth in this series. She's not annoying at all. And it was a pleasant surprise to see Michael Stipe!

What makes Gwyneth's so awesome is that hers sounds almost perfect at times, especially for an American because they are the ones who struggle most with pronunciation. Of course she wouldn't be able to get into a debate about a serious subject with a native speaker without mesing up here or there but that's natural since she is not a scholar so she hasn't practiced for that.

If you ask a Spaniard what he is most proud of about Spain's culture, he'll say food in the first place. We are proud and aware that we have top-quality cuisine, and an obscene diversity of it.

And I'm opend minded about that, I like pizza and all that stuff but the variety and the quality of food here is incredible. It's always a pleasure visiting other cities to taste their food here.

saw the last episode yesterday (in madrid, with the cook-off between all 4 of them). i was hoping for a tour of the royal palace with juan carlos, but sad that didnt happen.
this was my fav show on TV right now and im definitely gonna miss it. im definitely going to visit spain in the future (i just dont know where to begin!). looking forward to the repeats, i think i missed the first 2 episodes.
hopefully they will do another '...on the road again' series next year...maybe italy this time?

well this is the misconception you americans have about fashion. You don't need to wear expensive or special design clothes to look very fashion and elegant. Jeans are very very elegant too if you wear them with the correct clothes also in spain and in europe jeans are very very common to wear them at night or as an elegant clothe.

Interesting series. I've caught episodes serendipitously and found it good overall.
A little too much time spent at dinner tables, though. I almost feel awkward watching people eat so much. There could be more time spent exploring how the food is prepared and less time listening to dinner conversation and watching people stuff food into their mouths.
In contrast to others, I like Gwyneth in this series. She's not annoying at all. And it was a pleasant surprise to see Michael Stipe!

I love watching...except for Gwyneth Paltrow..God! Could she BE any more annoying! I keep watching,thinking,"gee,maybe the more shows I watch,I'll start liking her"
..but the OPPOSITE happens.
