I am completely against the creating of divisions between muslims. Further, a lot of this information about Barelwi's is a misnomer. They do not worship graves at all. They turn to the qiblah whilst lowering the body into the grave and seek forgiveness for the deceased to Allah. They are facing Allah in the grave. Its actually comical that ignorant ppl make such comments. I really think ostrasising a whole set of muslims (barelwis) is against islam. That is the irony here.

I think this a truly very sad. Islam in its purity is beyond man-made social constructions such as this muslim sect and that..the muslim communityy all have one common factor: the shahadah. We all endevour to pray namaz and follow the sunnah. Yes of course, people have diffrent ways in which they may strive to religiousity, however these varying methods does not mean it is wrong. That is the beauty of islam, islam is vast, of course there are going to be slight diffrences in practice.
