@ludocrat I loathe every talk show host except Craig. Even Conan has become bland and unfunny, to my tastes anyway. I'm from Denmark, and usually love everything that originates from the island you live on, as well as most everything from Eire. There's no doubt that Craig is a far cry from anything Scottish now (well, you'd know that much more than me), but to me he's still a remarkably witty and wonderful man, and I'll hold true to that until I think otherwise (which won't be soon, I think).

@ludocrat Ahhh, but he wasn't regarded as unfunny, untalented, unctuous, supercilious, etc. He rocked the Edinburgh Comedy festival, was given two shows, appeared in a couple of important theatre performances (Rocky Horror and Bad Boy Johnny Brown). Archbishop Desmond Tutu adores him....I think I can trust the Archbishop's opinion a bit more than yours. "btw"....we are more than happy to keep him!!

As far as geoff, I think they have someone with a computer to do on the fly responses, a joystick to control his movements, and a mixer/control panel with buttons and such that have canned responses and sayings ready to go. That way geoff is able to be a real sidekick now. It was all about perfecting the interface that controls him.

The man behind the curtain, the one we got a few glimpses of not many days ago, just decides which to trigger during the show. At least that's my understanding, since they'd have to get the movements of Geoff programmed in as well, so sudden talk from the curtain guy wouldn't work, unless Geoff had a major programming overhaul? But yeah, who knows? Someone?
