um....this is the most commonly used chord progression in our modern theory of music. of course the reason that is true is because it has the potential to be absolutely stunning, but it was still a very novice thing to use in this peice. if this guy was so amazing, he would have been much more original.

Mind you, I have to say, a lot of Zimmer's music is remarkably similar, with a similar style throughout all of them. Not a bad thing, but not necessarily a good thing either.
