Alot of this has to do with the fuck up of the Bush administration getting us into a war that we can't get out of and spending the shit out of the money. it's going to take many years to get out of this mess and right now no candidate from either party has any solutions to this mess except for Ron Paul.
Was Ron Paul right about the markets heading down after the excitement? Yes. After the Dow peaked at 12,764 on Feb. 1, and dropped 370 points today, it is now a bit lower than it was during this Cavuto show of Jan 23. It has dropped 499 points from interim high. Today was a very bad move as it indicates it will now go much lower this year, and perhaps to 10,000.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands the economy.
Say farewell to your precious freedoms then. Ron is the only one who could save your country, without causing anarchy and total disruption. Now you will sink straight into depression.
Ron isn't a coward either. No idea where you got that idea.
No arguement to say why Ron Paul is a bad candidate. You just dont like the spammers? Im sure if it was your candidate you wouldnt call them spammers. :> you got pwned in so many discussions.
The Fed cuts rates by .75% and the dollar imediatly loses value so the stock market rallies to make up the difference. Common sense. Our economy has been based on credit expansion. People buy into banks in this situation because banks will gain the most before inflation robs the middle and lower class. It's a vicious cycle where banks always come out on top. Question is, when will it crash?
Cavuto is an idiot. This 600 point swing was because there was meaningful discussion of a bailout for bond insurers. The financial industry and stock markets are a house of cards.
I'm reposting this person's comment to bump it to the top because it is right on the money [literally]!
Ron's question to McCain was the first statement to Cavuto. The statement Ron made here about China, Huckabee copied and used at the debate. Which tells me that Huckabee studies Ron's statements and McCain stupidly

Any other candidate on either side would sound like an idiot on this show...Ron Paul is the only person with a passion for all thing monetary...very very schooled on monetary policies. I thought it was funny that on Ron Pauls break not long ago from the campaigning, he spent his time off at Christmas reading up on current international monetary policies...
Who would you prefer to see in the white house? A president who knows and folows the Constitution and Bill of Rights or a tyrant like many presidents of recent years? I sometimes wonder about lovers of tyranny and socialists/collectivists who think that totalitarianism and human misery is such a wonderful concept.
Everyone we need to donate! 2/1/08 WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MONEY BOMB! Ron Paul has our best interests at heart...don't believe me? check out his voting record: Never voted to raise taxes. Never voted for an unbalanced budget. Never voted to raise congressional pay. Never taken a government-paid junket. Never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. Voted against the Patriot Act. Voted against regulating the Internet. Voted against the Iraq war.
meanwhile, check out b.o.'s (stinkies) church google: "obama's church" or trinity united church of christ "about us" - they gave farrakhan a man of the year award - obama is a deceiver - ron paul is a pussy & should go back to wiping them - the hillbillery's have to be stopped & romney is disturbed, (mormonism? stupid fool)
giuliani is a lib, obviously. mccain is nuts - what a mess...Keyes? Huck?
It's a damn shame when you have to deliver truth and discussion of REAL issues with the American people along with a magic show and some flashing lights in order for them to comprehend it.
shut up u patsy, ur a disinfo agent or somethin, so i guess ur for invading countries and killing innocent people?? i always see ur comments talkin bad about dr. paul but who do u support??
The Federal Reserve System is independent within the government. Although its decisions are not ratified by the President or by the executive branch of government, the entire System is subject to congressional oversight. For instance, Federal Reserve Governors periodically report to Congress. So, the Federal Reserve operates independently within a framework of economic and financial policy objectives established by the government.
The Fed hasn't been audited since 1954! Does that sound like "oversite" to you? Give me a break the entire system is a total lie and fraud! There is ZERO oversite of these criminals and even if there was...Congress is full of the same criminals as the Fed and IRS.
I thought I answered your question. You said it was disinfo when I said the Fed is not privately owned. You took the position that it IS privately owned. I even went to the trouble to search the net to provide you with some data.
i kno the fed is privately owned its no more fed than fed ex but i asked who u support for president since you keep bashing Ron Paul.. and yeah the federal reserve hasnt been audited since 1954

Though it seems real, what you have discribed is not the case. The Fed is completely without oversite and without audit. They do not pay US taxes and are presently not subject to US law.
Like I said ur not answering the question, u bash Dr. Paul and will not say who you support. Do u support invading countries and killing innocent people?? I guess so, Ron Paul is the common sense choice but the sheeple zombie people will never learn until its too late
yeah i looked that up, its pretty much what i thought, theyre a bunch of crooks, and on their official website it says they do quarterly audits?? people better by some gold with these b.s. tax returns were getting.

I love the word the government uses for spending money they do not have...deficit spending. Makes it sound sorta professional. Like they are high finance gurus with technical terms.
Don't worry America, it's only deficit spending or
Don't worry America, we are spending money we don't have and leaving you and the next 3 generations the TAB!
The debate over deficit spending ended 60 years ago, after it helped pull this country out of the Great Depression. There are plenty of books about it in your local library. In the meantime, what other well-settled developments do you want to dredge up and revisit? Slavery? Women's suffrage? The Scopes trial? The theory of gravity?
Lets see, IRS gives me back some my money but has to borrow to do it(Deficit spending=credit card). So now I as a taxpayer am on the hook for paying the national deficit interest charges(back to credit card analogy) of this stimulus package.....I wonder how much this $300 will cost me.
The federal reserve, owned by banks, slashes the rate which helps banks make money and buy up assests at discounted prices during the recession we're in. IT'S ALL A SCAM TO GET YOU TO WORK FOR NOTHING
Understanding how the Federal Reserve works is fairly easy on the internet. I've done it more than once (great memory, but very short). Anyone who claims the Federal Reserve is a privately owned corporation is either to lazy to read about it, too stupid to understand it, or they have an anti-American agenda of one form or another.
Where does it say taxes are being cut from just the rich? Please provide some evidence of this, because otherwise, you are just using random rhetorics and getting no where with it.
Did you not hear Ronny talk about his desire to eliminate taxes on inheritance, interest earned, and dividends? Who do you think inherits money and earns dividends on stocks, poor people?
Sometimes poor people have relatives to leave them money. Not everyone who inherits money is rich enough to not need whatever gets left to them! Why should anybody have to pay taxes on money their parents already paid income taxes on when they earned it?
And what good does it do anyone? Under a favorable economy - one where the government does not hamper the market - that money would be a) saved in a bank and loaned out or b) spent in our economy. Instead it gets burned up in government bureaucracy.
More fair opportunities to speak like this and Paul will certainly gain enough support to get the nomination. Now that people are starting to see and feel the effects of the current system there may be a chance for change.
They use Paul as a sounding board to get the correct answers. Unwittingly, he is educating the other candidates.
Over the next days, McHuckRomUliani will use what President Paul says in their comments about the markets, etc.
During the debate tonight watch their faces when President Paul speaks. They really believe what he says, they know he's right and they try to use it in their government-speak commentary, but they don't have the intelligence to pull it off.
he was VERY responsible with his answer. This +300 boost was based off the suggestion from a NY city employee that the Banks should bailout the Bond Backers... Who knows what was said and what was agreed but there are still more financial figures to come that will crush this gain. I think people should stop blaming the Fed at this point and lets figure a way out of this.
I appreciate Neil's show of respect and the thoughtful questions he posed to Dr.Paul. Ron's answers are clear understandable to the general population. He doesn't sound like a political "soundbite". ie:Obama/Clinton/McCain/Romney/Huckleberry with their "change" B.S. Ron was talking real change for years without using the word "change". His actions in congress speak loud & clear. He puts his money where his mouth is. I want to see more interviews like this in the coming weeks.
These "journalists" you see on TV have made enormous salaries. Maybe, it's "hard" to think of quitting, but it'd be easier to sleep at night, imho. And, if they fired you for being mean to someone, I think there would be good lawsuit with that. No, these journalists are rationalizing why they don't do anything, and they really need, instead, to do the "right" thing.
We just can't blame all journalist for their blackout of Ron Paul. They have families to feed and jobs to lose. Simple fact is that these Ron Paul bashers are really cool with Ron Paul once the Fox, CNN and MSNBC cameras are off. Example: Carl Cameron bashes Paul on the debates and then apologizes to Paul for having to be so unfair to him. Ron Paul, "I wish Fox was more Fair and Balanced." Cameron, "Don't we all (wish that)."
Mustangjake2073, that is like saying hitman are not to blame for the death of ppl they kill because they have a family to feed and a job to keep. These news "reporters" convinced alot of Americans into backing an invasion in Iraq that has killed over 5,000 troops and over 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians. They, and their owners are directly responsible for all of these deaths. Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate who REALLY tells it like it is and wants these needless wars to stop.
then we should blame every reporter under newscorp (watch Outfoxed) and not look in the mirror? Not doing our own reading and stuck on TV all day. Any book store in america under current affairs have tons of facts backing Ron Paul and about 2-3 backing Media view points. We must learn to fix our mistakes first. Tell everyone about Ron Paul's message.
How does a sarcastic tone change the verbage? There's no other way to say it. I feel sorry for some Faux reporters. Watch Outfoxed. It shows how reporters are forced to read propaganda under threat and hows actors and entetainers were hired and real journalists were all laid off.
how does a sarcastic tone change? the sarcastic tone would indicate he does not agree or was troubled by what dr. paul said. i'm sure there are journalists inside fox news that would like it to be different, but I for one wouldn't want to work in an environment for which goes against my beliefs. Frankly, I do not feel sorry for them, anyone can get jobs, and if they knowingly report something wrong or with bad intentions for the money, that would make them prostitutes.
Gee! He was actually nice to RON PAUL, what a change! I guess these Pentagon owned whores in the media realize their money is also being devaluated! It's about time MORONS!
The bouncing dead cat says...KILL THE FED AND KILL THE IRS and put the banksters in prison then, go after the criminals in both parties!
We all depend on money to provide for our families. News media employees also have to depend on money to provide for their family and debt. Unfortunately, we sometimes become dishonest to protect our job and money. We need honest principled leaders in our government and Main Stream Media to be able to improve our civilized society (e.g. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel). We have to become honest principled leaders in our communities to eliminate corruption, greed and debt from our society.
Ron Paul will solve this crap for good, just like the middle east crap! I can't tell you a better reason to vote for him other than to just not have to hear this crap anymore!
I think if Ron would focus on Economy in his speeches he could make it. I know he wants to remove the Federal Reserve, but I think that would take a lot of policy changes and people getting used to the idea.
Hmmm, sounds like the media is listening with a bit more respect for Dr paul lately. Could it be that they are starting to realize that he actually makes sense and doesn't BS people??? This guy's here for the long haul, get used to it, FAuX.
It was ready to correct anyway yet it is below the support at 12,400, and it has a it has a long way to go down. Yep, and the President's Plunge Team had a hand. They only bought time.
I appreciate Neil's show of respect and the thoughtful questions he posed to Dr.Paul. Ron's answers are clear understandable to the general population. He doesn't sound like a political "soundbite". ie:Obama/Clinton/McCain/Romney/Huckleberry witht their "change" B.S. Ron was talking real change for years without using the word "change". His actions in congress speak loud & clear. He puts his money where his mouth is. I want to see more interviews like this in the coming weeks.
CavFarto tried to get Dr. Paul to agree with him that this was a huge day in the stock Market. Yea, the cheese in laid for all the rats!
They're going to hook the average idiot to the gut.
You want to find good information? Go look at Dr. Paul Craig. This is just what Jim Rogers said would happen and all I can say if you got all your money in the stock Market then you remind me of that phrase that says a fool and his money is soon seperated!
It's hilarious to see people get excited about the Fed lowering rates...as if it's the opening tune to a huge party, with nothing but good times ahead. If it manages to do anything and the fed *hasn't* lost control of the dollar, it'll just spur another economic bubble that will pop in a few years...only harder than the previous bubble. Ron Paul knows his stuff...he's a brilliant economist, statesman, and gentleman. RON PAUL 2008!
Seriously folks, the FED just bailed out everyone in the know. These people are ditching their holdings as the markets are having the last rally before things turn, and they will turn.
At some point people will realize that there's nothing more the FED can do to artificially inflate our economy. When that happens, there will be a massive sell off and the dollar will tank.

Fla Strategy:
Rudy got Party bosses to make Fla "WINNER TAKE ALL" (could backfire) so whoever wins gets ALL 57 delegates (Democrats don't allow this)
So Rudy & Mike will spend every cent in Fla, for if they lose, it's over!
Romney & McCain will also spend every cent because if they lose, will be tough.
Since WINNER-TAKE-ALL don't expect PAUL to make much effort -- JUST GET 5% & COME OUT THE REAL WINNER WITH MOST CASH & READY TO WIN STATES ON 2/5.

Instead he shits all over this uptick in the stock and instead mentions how we need GOVERNMENT to really make things better.

Structure of the Federal Reserve System

So you can read..
Though it seems real, what you have discribed is not the case. The Fed is completely without oversite and without audit. They do not pay US taxes and are presently not subject to US law.

Don't worry America, we are spending money we don't have and leaving you and the next 3 generations the TAB!
USconstitution1789 4 years ago 2
The debate over deficit spending ended 60 years ago, after it helped pull this country out of the Great Depression. There are plenty of books about it in your local library. In the meantime, what other well-settled developments do you want to dredge up and revisit? Slavery? Women's suffrage? The Scopes trial? The theory of gravity?
alferdog 4 years ago
Lets see, IRS gives me back some my money but has to borrow to do it(Deficit spending=credit card). So now I as a taxpayer am on the hook for paying the national deficit interest charges(back to credit card analogy) of this stimulus package.....I wonder how much this $300 will cost me.

The federal reserve, owned by banks, slashes the rate which helps banks make money and buy up assests at discounted prices during the recession we're in. IT'S ALL A SCAM TO GET YOU TO WORK FOR NOTHING
slitteva 4 years ago 4
The federal reserve is not owned by the banks. The big banks are given money by the Fed who prints the money.
The fed decides interest rates, which affects inflation.
EmpireAlley1 4 years ago
Understanding how the Federal Reserve works is fairly easy on the internet. I've done it more than once (great memory, but very short). Anyone who claims the Federal Reserve is a privately owned corporation is either to lazy to read about it, too stupid to understand it, or they have an anti-American agenda of one form or another.
TAMARLANE 4 years ago
Wrong the Fed DOES NOT print U.S. currency! It is printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing which is a division of the U.S. Treasury.

Where does it say taxes are being cut from just the rich? Please provide some evidence of this, because otherwise, you are just using random rhetorics and getting no where with it.
elitedragoon2115 4 years ago
Did you not hear Ronny talk about his desire to eliminate taxes on inheritance, interest earned, and dividends? Who do you think inherits money and earns dividends on stocks, poor people?
alferdog 4 years ago
Sometimes poor people have relatives to leave them money. Not everyone who inherits money is rich enough to not need whatever gets left to them! Why should anybody have to pay taxes on money their parents already paid income taxes on when they earned it?
Cooltruth11 4 years ago
The so-called "death tax" or, estate tax, doesn't apply to "poor people". It only taxes large estates.
eneliatarknenah 4 years ago
And what good does it do anyone? Under a favorable economy - one where the government does not hamper the market - that money would be a) saved in a bank and loaned out or b) spent in our economy. Instead it gets burned up in government bureaucracy.

More fair opportunities to speak like this and Paul will certainly gain enough support to get the nomination. Now that people are starting to see and feel the effects of the current system there may be a chance for change.
kevinabt 4 years ago 5
They use Paul as a sounding board to get the correct answers. Unwittingly, he is educating the other candidates.
Over the next days, McHuckRomUliani will use what President Paul says in their comments about the markets, etc.
During the debate tonight watch their faces when President Paul speaks. They really believe what he says, they know he's right and they try to use it in their government-speak commentary, but they don't have the intelligence to pull it off.
It's becoming comical.

he was VERY responsible with his answer. This +300 boost was based off the suggestion from a NY city employee that the Banks should bailout the Bond Backers... Who knows what was said and what was agreed but there are still more financial figures to come that will crush this gain. I think people should stop blaming the Fed at this point and lets figure a way out of this.
jeraklidis 4 years ago
I appreciate Neil's show of respect and the thoughtful questions he posed to Dr.Paul. Ron's answers are clear understandable to the general population. His actions in congress speak loud & clear. He puts his money where his mouth is. I want to see more interviews like this in the coming weeks.
chas233 4 years ago 3
These "journalists" you see on TV have made enormous salaries. Maybe, it's "hard" to think of quitting, but it'd be easier to sleep at night, imho. And, if they fired you for being mean to someone, I think there would be good lawsuit with that. No, these journalists are rationalizing why they don't do anything, and they really need, instead, to do the "right" thing.
cepivon 4 years ago 2
We just can't blame all journalist for their blackout of Ron Paul. They have families to feed and jobs to lose. Simple fact is that these Ron Paul bashers are really cool with Ron Paul once the Fox, CNN and MSNBC cameras are off. Example: Carl Cameron bashes Paul on the debates and then apologizes to Paul for having to be so unfair to him. Ron Paul, "I wish Fox was more Fair and Balanced." Cameron, "Don't we all (wish that)."
mustangjake2073 4 years ago
Mustangjake2073, that is like saying hitman are not to blame for the death of ppl they kill because they have a family to feed and a job to keep. These news "reporters" convinced alot of Americans into backing an invasion in Iraq that has killed over 5,000 troops and over 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians. They, and their owners are directly responsible for all of these deaths. Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate who REALLY tells it like it is and wants these needless wars to stop.
fastlane321 4 years ago 2
then we should blame every reporter under newscorp (watch Outfoxed) and not look in the mirror? Not doing our own reading and stuck on TV all day. Any book store in america under current affairs have tons of facts backing Ron Paul and about 2-3 backing Media view points. We must learn to fix our mistakes first. Tell everyone about Ron Paul's message.
mustangjake2073 4 years ago
mustang, you should watch that video again with cameron and dr. paul, cameron had a sarcastic tone when saying that.
imnodog 4 years ago
How does a sarcastic tone change the verbage? There's no other way to say it. I feel sorry for some Faux reporters. Watch Outfoxed. It shows how reporters are forced to read propaganda under threat and hows actors and entetainers were hired and real journalists were all laid off.
mustangjake2073 4 years ago
how does a sarcastic tone change? the sarcastic tone would indicate he does not agree or was troubled by what dr. paul said. i'm sure there are journalists inside fox news that would like it to be different, but I for one wouldn't want to work in an environment for which goes against my beliefs.

It's about time MORONS!

diamondman007 4 years ago 2
We all depend on money to provide for our families. News media employees also have to depend on money to provide for their family and debt. Unfortunately, we sometimes become dishonest to protect our job and money. We need honest principled leaders in our government and Main Stream Media to be able to improve our civilized society (e.g. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel). We have to become honest principled leaders in our communities to eliminate corruption, greed and debt from our society.
