elvis costello - 'north' piano and vocal version

This is my favorite elvis costello song of recent years. It has a faraway, sad quality. When close to my mortal end, I hope I have the strength to make it far enough north, to see the Northern Lights, to hear the howl of wolves and to play this song as I tromp through deep snow into my unknown "North."

the piano reminds me of small halls in the Brighton Beach of my youth. Slightly off key, echoing off of the former grandeur of the rococco walls. I hope they play this at my wake.

Huh? In de clip zegt hij het zelf nog (doesn't appear on the album, have to look a little harder for it), daarnaast in de omschrijving. Mijn CD begint met You left me in the dark... BTW, als je dit mooi vindt ben ik benieuwd wat je vindt van Down River, uitgevoerd met Elton John...
