Own it. Love it as much as the finger prints it has. Wi-fi reception for mine is extremely powerful, though. If in the same network with other WinVista wi-fi-enabled computers, it can end up disconnecting everyone constantly. But that's probably just my network being cheap.
this laptop is a piece of shit...when i first brought it, it was good everthing was working good and it was fast. i brought it for like $700 worth a piece of shit cuz i download a program registry cleaner i scan it after that i restart it everthing was not working. fuck man stupid dipshit. i feel like i spend $700 for nothing.
Don't f*** with something that works! Get rid of the program you bought to improve your laptop! I don't know how many people have to mess with a working system. Like updating the BIOS and have it get corrupted , then you've lost your system. AND FOR WHAT?

I have the Gateway MD2614u and the only difference between this Gateway MD7818u and mine is this laptop has a bigger hard drive and a Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD where mine has a ATI Radeon® HD 3200 Graphics with 256 dedicated memory, and this one has 1 more gig of ram than mine does . Mine will play most games and this one wont play them well. Also mine costed only $549 from bestbuy also. The MD2614u is a much better buy over this one.
