Yeah Adrian isn't happy with production that's for sure..I have heard him say that on many interviews since 2003. Also in one of the metal hammer mags I own..he says that.

That explains why Adrian has said in many interviews that he is unhappy with the production on the Maiden albums and Steve changes his songs completely. Also 4 songs didn't make it to The Final Frontier because apparently Steve said they were very different from Maiden. Glad that Adrian is exploring his musical talents through projects like this instead of leaving Maiden again. Remember, he left in 1990 because he was unhappy with the direction in which Maiden were going.

@ironfanmaiden nonsense. Believe it or not, adrian feels suppressed in Maiden. Adrian is unhappy with the production of the last few albums. Steve doesn't allow many of his songs on the record and the ones he does allow have been completely "Steveised". Adrian loves heavy experimental and progressive metal so it was only a matter of time he started a side project we should be glass he didn't leave Maiden again. And calling this death metal is blasphemy.

Adrian isn't happy with the productionsof the last few Maiden albums? You know this how? Adrian has never come out and said that. Adrian Smith has been the one of the principal writers on the last 3 Iron Maiden albums. I have never heard that Adrian felt stifled in Iron Maiden except when he left the band in 1990. If anything Adrian is as happy as he ever was with them. This is a chance for him to do something that does not fit in the context of Iron Maiden. Many musicians have side projects.

1:49 is that Adrian singing? I remember his voice sounding somewhat like this on an Iron Maiden demo on which he was the lead singer instead of Bruce, but it was recorded about 26 years ago so I really can't tell if it is him.

Gotta hand it to Adrian- he's not afraid to take chances and get outside the Maiden bubble of music. I can't wait to hear more (and the whole CD) to see how it stacks up, production-wise, with the most recent Iron Maiden studio releases. Adrian fought Steve and Kevin Shirley over the mix and re-arrangement of his songs on The Final Frontier, so it will be interesting to see how this compares. Glad he's still in Maiden, but this is also a refreshing twist from my favorite metal guitarist.

it's ok but it didn't blow my mind it's more aggro than Psycho Motel, I don't know ASAP cos I had found that record, sounds different than Maiden, guitar and aggression feels like a Dickinson's record but without the great voice of Bruce, it's good anyway, Adrian is a great composer and musician.

I'm one of his biggest fans but this song doesn't fit. Listen to his old Solo project A.S.A.P and compare it to this song.
