3.7 sec in 0-60mph.... not bad but the guy said it has only 50% of available torque in 1st gear and 60% in second gear. If they complate this car for a production and take those limitations off man this car will go under 3 second for sure on 0-60mph.

indeed that W12 is fresh out of the bentley continental gt. I read an article/ interview on the car, and its deff drivable, but it seems to have a little difficulty with corners, but id kind of expect that; especially since they made it in 8 weeks (not a lot of time for engineering). Additionally they were skeptical about this vehicles sale because of the lack of demand, it would cost shy of $100k so if they were to make it they would be very limited. All aroundcrazy car though

I am considering building something similar with a regular GTI body. I would use a GTO 6.0L V8 engine with twin turbos(guessing around 550 hp)... of course it would not have the hp that the W12 has(600 hp), but I would put a lot of money into the handling of the car, so mine could possibly be lighter and perform better on the track... It may be a better power to weight ratio(it will definitely be cheaper...)

Actually, i am nearing paying off my GTI, but I have changed my mind. I am going to use an older Ford Focus hatchback with the same general idea. I want to keep my GTI a good everyday driving car. This is going to take a lot of work... I live a mile from the Houston Raceway, so I need a good track car...

nah, probably the fact it is a one off worth hundreds of thousands of pounds which they didnt want to run the risk of crashing on the 1/4 mile. the fact it was there and drove (i didnt expect it to be a running version) was good enough

its a hand built prototype speed limited to 100 kph.the suspension is set to look good not for running at 200 mph.its back to the factory to sort it properly now. good enough for you?
