@EricNos24 You can. I've done so more than once ( most of the time by accident :P ). You simply have to open the radial menu->L2, aim at no enemy and use the spell-> force field on yourself! Try it, it works!

I got the heavy hitter with the arrow of slaying near the end with my rogue, 887 damage to some random zombie near the end of the game. Might've been a fluke, I havent gotten that much damage out of that move since

@usafsf1016 The easiest way of getting Heavy Hitter Achievement (250+ damage with 1 skill or spell) is by being a mage and getting the Mana Clash spell from the Spirit Tree. Target on any decent enemy spellcaster and you'll have it right after saving the village of Redcliffe.

@TKaarel Or by being an archer with arrow of slaying I think it's called. Got a 340 hit easy pretty early with that thing.

@yodadax222 dunno if you got it by the time I answered but I got it as a dual wield warrior too and went with over 600 damage points with a warriors power that augment its strikes power but slow them, a bard's song that makes you stronger, a mage's spell that makes your fighting skills up a level, berseker mode and the finishing blow ;) devastating move!

Hahaha. I never thought that force field spell had any use. Cool idea.

Force Field(FF) is a great spell. Sure, it can be a last effort to save someone who just can't be healed fast enough, but with some strategy you can send your Tank into the middle of an enemy hoard, throw FF on him and then cast blizzard on the whole mass while your ranged fighters start picking the enemies off one by one. Also it combines with Crushing Prison to create a damaging shockwave that effects everyone nearby.
