Hi this has been so interesting, I am a beginner at this and I have two 19th Century Louis style chairs from a Castle in France, these need desperate attention, any advice would be much appreciated, I absolutely love what you have done with this chair, very professional, detailed and inspiring, thank you so much I hope to see more, Nicola. UK
Thanks a ton Chris for the videos, I watched every one. I called my wife and told her I need to buy a regulator and some tack strip and she's like "huh?" lol I think that wood would look beautiful in cherry color.
I am so thankful for your videos!!!! I stumbled upon them when I was trying to find videos to apply individual nailhead trim. Any chance you could do a video on nailhead trim too? that would be AWESOME!
These were so helpful. I couldn't see myself spending $300 for a class when it cost that much to pay someone else to do it anyways. Now all I have to pay for is suppies and fabic! What a blessing. ps. I wanted to know if you would mind if I posted them on my blog when I finally tackle this project?
Thank you so much! I took a basic upholstery class so I could learn to reupholstery a love seat. I wasn't very confident about being able to take on this task but after watching your video series, I feel like I can actually do this.
YOUR AMAZING!!! Really great at what you do. Thanks for sharing the diy. I am guessing that the person that disliked a few of the video's in this series was the poor camera person that had to stand there the entire time. Great job, super informative, and very professional job.
Could I do the cardboard tape you put at the bottom of the seat before placing the dust cover? Just to hide it.. or it has to be on top of the dust cover?
Thank you very much for sharing. I finished watching all chapters in one sitting. Your simple approach and friendly tips were second to none.Highly appreciated.
Chris these were absolutely amazing!!! I am so impressed! I had no idea half of these products existed! I always wondered how people got the back on a chair! NOW I KNOW! Thank you very much for this video! I would love to post it on my blog for everyone to see! I will e-mail you and make sure that is ok!
I like the way u r not , skipping the easy steps , with somebody that knows nothing about this subjects, I need to hear every possible step. Thanks for keeping up the good work, I subscribed
I've watched every installment to this series of videos (plus a few more that you've posted!). Having owned and sold two profitable businesses in the last 20+ years, I"ve decided to get my dad's reupholstery shop running again.....it has sat idle for almost 3 years since he died of chemotherapy. Your videos have provided me with the "refresher" course (and a number of different ways to approach things) that I needed to proceed with some degree of confidence!!!
Thanks for this tutorial series. I think I'm going to pick up an old chair and try it for myself. I like how you threw a little humor into your videos too!
