You're not the judge. If you didn't know Martin Luther King, Jr, personally, you can't speak about him as if you did. Fortunately, I've listened to those who did know him and read literature written about him and his own writings. There was a lot more to Martin Luther King, Jr. than the media and America would like to believe. Just as there was much more to Christ. I'm done with the conversation! Again, you missed the whole point. Others didn't and that's a very good thing.

This is why I don't watch news. I read and read and read, watch documentaries and withhold judgment. Unfortunately I did judge this man before I listened to what he had to say and I can see why Obama went to this church. Unfortunately Obama threw him under the bus for political reasons but I understand that too. People want to suck the teat of America and masturbate to the American Flag. and would rather be blissful and miserable in their ignorance than knowledgeable of the past.

They did not watch this interview becaus there are other ways to get to the truth. I saw the entire serom on youtube in another clip. The ruth is that you must know that this is how the media operates, hence it is important fro people to NOT give interviews and say ANYTHING that can be taken out of context.

I think this man is brillliant, well spoken, well educated and very well informed and no amount of negative publicity will dull his importance and truth.

People will understand in time.

Cause it's easier? Just as it's easier to say, "They hate us for our freedom," instead of our policies. It is easier to label someone anti-American if one disagrees with the current policy or doesn't look upon the history of the United States as all-positive. Just as it's easier to label someone a communist if he thinks the 'free trade' isn't either free, or a trade, but extortion. Just as it's easier to label someone an anti-Semite if he criticizes Israel's occupation and apartheid. Easy.

@manyara02 You point is well taken. But stop quoting Jesus out of context. It is as misleading as the media was to Jeremiah. Nonetheless, while he makes valid points and states accurate history overall, he is no Martin Luther King. He does incite hatred and is racist against the Israel. He is presenting a one-sided history when it comes to them. It is true though, that the US has no business being the bully of the world. So there is truth to what he is saying.

It is better to read and reread than to read, react, misinterpret and express some misguided view. Furthermore, I've watched this man for many years of my life and he's no more hateful than Martin Luther King, Jr., Jesus, and any other civil rights leader or religious leader. He's no more racist against Israel than Christ was against the Canaanite.

@manyara02 I did read & reread your comment, which is posted on more than one video in this series verbatim. Like I said, he is no Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King spoke with the mercy of Jesus when he discussed "certain sick white brothers". No man, whatever color or religion, can have it both ways. He cannot talk about "mistreatment" of the Palestinians & quote scriptures pertaining to Israel, to get himself off the hook. And he is NOT Jesus. Not even close.

@manyara02 I would respect him more if he was blatantly pro-Muslim. He also stated that if there is something in the bible he does not agree with, he teaches otherwise. So he is, in effect, making himself equal with God. No amount of good works can undo that. He is a very intelligent man who speaks many truths. Do not mistake this for his being right about the word of God in every respect.

@manyara02 By the way, I have nothing against Muslims. I have a great deal of respect for Malcolm X, Mandela & others. I do not like the way he condescendingly holds up himself as a "Preacher", while, with a condescending tone, more than once, saying "President Obama is a Politician". He has a lot of nerve saying it that way. He is hurt by what President Obama said. He has too much pride in a negative way, hindering his ability to be in tune with the spirit.

The whore media enjoyed playing the up the "chickens are comming home to roost" part. The part when he says "Violence begets violence, hatred begets hatred, and terrorism begets terrorism" was conviently edited out. That part of the sermon didn't fit into their little neat narrative.

everyone who thinks he has racist views are racist themselves. he speaks truth, and the truth hurts thats why all the racist are so upset, hes pulling the veil of their heads and revealing their true faces. america as a whole is one of the racist places, we are so culturally mixed that it is impossible not to be. wright isnt the only one. you can go to almost any church black white or otherwise and the acknowledgment of governments roll against or for those people are addressed.
