  • You found a nice music for this movie. I think the guys also wanted to listen some Doors. Or just... Waiting for the sun :)

  • fabulous views

  • great movie and i love the doors...

  • classic movie , great times for America

  • obviously you've never seen this movie...

  • This might look good, but in reality road house blues wasn't produced until the year after this movie was released.

  • and? are you the music gestapo that has to pick apart a good feeling by bringing up something as trivial as a freaking date? What other hidden discrepencies have to located in this video? We're ALLLL eyes and ears, BWAAAA-HAHAHAH!

  • BFD!!!!

  • Edge City, children, Edge City........

  • Doors music legendry...Riders on the storm, Brake on through to the other side, Run with me, light my fire :D

  • sorry, but i prefer born to be wilde...

  • Doors, Fonda on a honda,Hopper on a chopper, it's all good............far out.

    btw great song :)

  • melhor filme junto com godfather

  • from what i understand Jim and Dennis Hopper didnt get along at all and he wasnt a fan of this movie..he might not like this whereverhe is.

  • peace and love

  • My harmonica version of this great blues song is on my YouTube site RoadHouseBluesHarp. It´s 7 minutes, i hope it´s not too long.

  • Good music is never too long ;)

  • and the whole story has to be told!

  • I love this song and I love this movie. Great idea joining the two. I should have thinked of this before but I didnt. Congratulations.

  • WTF?????

  • Listening to this song makes me ever so thankful that Manzarek and Morrison hooked up at UCLA Film School....

  • i would like to see them sat/nav to the pole

  • i think the sometimes empty feeling of this film was deliberate.. a way of saying u cant just ride of and leave things behind.

  • i am sure they will say a lot worse of the moves of today 30yrs from now!

  • you're right there. most of them are a pile of shit.

  • I can see why this movie might have been of some interest for the hippy community back in the 1960s, but today it is simply a dreary, empty film in which two men look at scenery. Nothing happens in this film, until the protagonists are finally put out of their misery execution-style.

  • Stopping to look at the scenery is what we've lost. If you can't look at the scenery what can you do - keep your eye on the prize?

  • You can look at scenery in real life, friend. You don't watch other people watching the scenery in a movie. A movie is a story.

  • All you need for a movie is a gun and a girl. If you think a movie is just a story then you need to look a bit more, or you're looking at the wrong movies, or just looking at them wrong. Hey ho, your loss.

  • A movie is a piece of entertainment. If you haven't been entertained then for fuck's sake don't bore us by telling us why.

  • You mean as opposed to you boring me by telling me why you think I'm boring?

  • this video makes me wanna be "on the road again"......

  • This video makes me wanna travel that little bit more

  • thats what i wanted to make you feel :P *,)

  • that scene at 3:20 where the hippy dude points to the scenery and waves his hand in the wind always grabbed me...

  • friggen great--awesome

  • Ray played most of the bass by foot but bass players were also used. to Find something important to argue about.

  • you morons ray manzarek played bass on a keyboard.

  • The doors played with a bass player now and then. One of them was lonnie Mack. He also plays guitar as well.

  • stinks for bass players that this one of the only songs that the doors had a bass on

  • it sure does! :O

  • anybody know who played bass on it? but it's perfect, the perfect blues song, man, not original, nothing fancy just perfect. bassline is the same as in a thousand songs but it sounds so gooood...''roadhouse blues is my fav song. ever.'' - larry mullen(U2 drummer) 12/4/'92.

  • No bass. It's the doors, just a guitar player.

  • yea for every song but this one

  • Awsome thanks Santicer

  • do any of you guys know what album this is?

  • Doors, Morrison Hotel

  • That's because you didn't do your homework. =)

  • this is such a killer tune. goes really well with Easy Rider

  • thanks!

  • steppenwolf does fit the film better...but great tune and great performance...shame morrison was a light weight

  • original sounds better

  • yea, but this song suits it too.

  • go away.

  • Great song!!! Great film!!! Great Jim!!!

  • yeah!

  • FTW

  • fuck off perverted wanker.

  • original is much better

  • no it isn´t.

  • pretty well !

  • thanks!

  • The man who played 2nd lead boss Guitar was Great

  • yeah this song would have been a great choice.. one problem though... roadhouse blues was on morrison hotel, which wasnt released until 1970.. this movie was released in 1969

  • thanks for the info.

  • That was really great. I think this would have been an excellent choice for the movie, though it's hard to go against Steppenwolf. Nice job.

  • glad you liked it

  • This is in Arizona I know,it has to be.

  • ok :P

  • Hehe awesome ^^ I was just saying when watching it yesterday that Fonda looks like Ray Manzerek!!

  • This is awesome

  • the music matches the scenery perfectly; raw and timeless. nice video.

  • thanks man!

  • no prob!

i looked it up, demais is a portugese word wich means: too much!

  • man those panheads are fuckin nice.

  • that sure are!

  • I think it was in LA, says so at the start...

  • Nevermind, LA is where they are from... Sorry.

  • And of course that this is the LIVE version. I might be wrong, but I think this was recorded in New York City.

  • I dont know where it was recorded, propalbly in nyc, or in La, like LSP55 said.

  • I just watched this again and I gotta repeat myself: BEST fucking song ever and BEST movie ever. Jim Morrison is God

  • thanks!, yeah Morrison is awesome!

  • both those bikes are ride to ride btw.

  • English is not my first language, what dus ride to ride mean?

  • The man who played 2nd lead boss Guitar was Great

  • he sure was!.. I don't know his name though. only that he was the dooors' bassplayer.

  • The Doors had no bassplayer. Ray Manzarek (sp?) handled bass duties on his organ. The guitarist's name is Robby Kreiger, and there is only one guitarist in the band... so all guitar you hear is him. He did play fingerstyle, so he has a very unique sound that when played in conjunction with the organ sounds very much like an electric bass.

  • Lonnie mack played bass on roadhouse.

  • Not live.

  • Yea, its propably not live

  • ok, thanks for the info!

  • well, i think you know it all? Oo

man don't discuss about music ... listen to it and love it ...

  • right you are :P

  • Cool! Enough said

  • :-) thanks!

  • liberty yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh babyyyyyy
