  • does this hammock come with a tarp or bug net?

  • @TheWinterfox10 The hammock alone does not, but ENO does offer a couple package setups that include tarps and bug nets...or you can buy them separately depending on which you want to get.

  • do you have to have slap straps

  • @cheeselyman No, you can use any kind of rope or straps that you want to, but the slap straps are great to take along and extremely easy to use without having to tie any knots.

  • sleeping in a hammock breaks your back, they are shite, by the time you carry a tarp, cold sheet bag, bivvi hammock, just pack a one man tent its smaller quicker easier. this is a gimmick that sucks, no way is this guy going to sleep in this then back pack 25 miles next day, ignore this rubbish, i been doing this 40 years now, trust me on this one,

  • @settingsonssc It's all about personal preference. If you dont like to sleep in one, that's fine. We talk to hundreds of happy customers every year that love them, think they are the most comfortable thing in the world, customers who haven't slept in a tent for 20+ years because they've been using hammocks, and the list keeps going on. We've even come across people who have thru hiked the Appalachian Trail with just the hammock and tarp as their shelter.

owned one for five years. No sticks in the back, no cold from ground coming up to get you. Colorado, michigan, summer, winter, multiple nights, I like it. Personal preference: I like it bunches.

  • i find it much easier to roll starting at one biner up to the stuff sack then rolling up the other...it makes deployment much faster and tidy.

  • which would be best for backpacking in comfort in the winter the singlenest or the doublenest

  • In the winter, probably the doublenest even though it's extra weight. The extra fabric will be helpful to block out any wind and also to be able to provide extra space to sleeping bag or extra clothing, insulation, etc.

  • ★★★★★

  • I have the double nest w/bug net and slap straps and love it alot. getting the silnylon tarp for it soon when I have the money next month. Good review man.

  • my first eno hammock was a 2 person one and trust me i will never go camping without it again . once you get your sleeping bag in and get all setteled in for the night i found tht there is nothing better then that . when i camp i place it high over the top of my jeep so i have no visitors at night like deer , but sure do love mine to death ...great job eno keep up the gret products.

  • Me and all of my friends have them. we will put them really high up in trees to where you have to climb the tree to get in it... AND..... we will bunk them.... so there will be like 5 hammocks high up in between trees one under another.... it looks awesome! Oh, and if your an outdoorsman..... The hammock and straps are the best 80 dollars you will spend in your life.

  • @baseballguy0900 sounds pretty sweet but i only put mine as high up as im willing to fall.

Rope breaks and so do trees it just happens.

  • Nice!

  • Tree straps need to be higher, and more slack in hammock. Will give better lie and more comfort.

  • It seems complicated but you make it look easy!

How would you get in it with a sleeping bag?

  • nice! and the good thing is, it works !!

  • Looks like a nice hammock. Thanks for the reviews brother

  • Cool video...I have this setup...works great!
