@jmelchor29 take it from someone who initially hated QOTSA (as i thought they were borrowing quite a bit from Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Helmet), as i got older and music got shitier and shitier. I began to see Homme and co, as the last person who even resembled a true rockstar. And i mean rockstar i the sense of putting his art before the money. Just as soon as he does somenthing that becomes popular, he finds another mean to express his endless talent. Truly respect that.

@jmelchor29 im most def checking that out. But "my" music didnt get shittier, it was all the new music. Most of the bands that mattered to me began to break, and the new bands were bad copies. I still hold Badmotorfinger, Piece of Cake, Angel Dust or all my DK (cassette) tapes dearly. They never sucked and never will. For me it was the Limp Bizkits, Blinks, Creeds or Strokes that made me began to pay attention to Hommes and co's talent.
