I've seen Eric five times now, all in San Diego, and every time the man plays he's just the most laid back, humble dude in the house, even while dropping jaws with his skills. I've never been able to talk to him, but those that have say he's very mellow and cool... No ego at all; which is amazing considering he's a living legend.

I find his playing plentiful with emotion myself, if by "emotion" in playing is that it moves me from one state of mind to another. His note selection clearly portrays a state of mind, I find. But that's just me :)
