@MrSuperEgg What I should have said is nowadays, it seems like they try too hard to sound like BTBAM (which they list as a major influence) or some other progressive metal band. Kezia sounded spontaneous, but as if it happened naturally - fluid spontaneity, if you will. To me, it sounds like Fortress lost some of that feel in exchange for sounding more technically advanced and Scurrilous builds upon that.

@MrSuperEgg I also think the last two albums don't have near the amount of emotion or intensity as Kezia. This may come from them abandoning their punk-ish beginnings.

The way they record is also a problem for me. The guitars sound too processed and I very much dislike Rody's use of effects on his vocals. These two combine to make the band sound like the spawn between BTBAM and Dragonforce.

While I respect that they're growing as musicians and exploring new territory, I still rank Kezia first.
