dont bring a tripod when you're usiing this kind of song. it just adds to the effect. it makes it seem less planned out. people never do this any more. people need things to be pristine and perfect. but dont. let it be.
hey great work with your video. i did that drive back in 92 with my best friend and his mom. she had been fighting cancer for over a year and was losing quickly. when we did that drive it was clear out there and you could see forever. that was the last time i was up there and she passed away a few months earlier. thank you for sharring this with the world. did you live out there and where.
whoever that idot was who skipped Mauna Kea and said Volcano National Park was more exciting has no idea what they are talking about. Mauna Kea is a humbling experience like no other. The stars were amazing.
not really because from its base(ocean floor) mouna kea is the tallest mountain in the world(from sea floor) so are the other volcanoes on the big island
rock on mogwai and sigur ros... doen't get much better, saw explosions in the sky a few weeks ago, they melted my face off with awesome walls of sound.
Two years ago, I left a message on this video. I want to leave another one saying I walked that mountain against every rangers and officials advice and concerns. I once again saw my mother. Thank you from the bottom of my soul.
I think thatʻs where people get confused because youʻre right that itʻs the tallest, but people mistake the "highest" for being the tallest. if a 6ʻ6" tall person is sitting next to a 5ʻ0" person, the 6ʻ6" person is still taller, just not higher...
God... I miss that sooo bad! Was there with my best mate in may this year. Will never forget the impressions I've had..! Beautiful place to be HAWAII.. God bless
i live in kohala on the big island, ive been up there 4 times, oh and john keawe lives here in kohala also, actually just a little ways down my street, haha, he'a excellent.
Thanks for all the appreciation folks. I've got a lot more stuff from Hawaii recorded, but I'm waiting on a new computer before I edit it all. The one I've got now is hella slow and Windows Movie maker crashes a lot :(
It was my Mothers birthday today. She died nine years ago. I swear I just saw her again in your video. Thank Zen Archer for making it me come to look here but I thank you for giving me this.
Great video! I love the Big Island. I get over there as much as I can. Bought a Ukulele from Melekai Music about 3 years ago and have been playing it often. Fell in love with Hawaiin music. Like to catch John Keawe when I am there.
I stopped watching this because of 240p I appreciate the upload though.

From top to bottem of the sea,
Mauna Kea is the largest/tallest mountain on Earth.
