@everxthinkingxdude depending on the job a woman is applying for, they have a much greater chance of getting it than a guy. This same goes for colleges. if a woman wants to work in the sciences or be a doctor, both of those fields have more men than women. colleges who have strong science departments will except more women who are applying for the sciences, and more women will be hired for them than men. also, it has been recognized that in many fields of science, women do much better than men.
