Well it so happened that they were doing construction on the road and they closed that road. As we were backing up to go take another road, the dirt road was sinking into the cliff, and it was only a matter of time before our car was stuck at the bottom. Good compilation, the Karakaram highway which connects Pakistan and China one of similar most dangerous roads of world.

One, its all hilly ares, secondly this road is thousands of meters above sea level. Finally, Landslides and roadblocks are routine there.

Also the way it built by cutting the mountains, it truly a marvel of engineering.
