not to mention that the guy tried to talk shit about buying a new board and shit but then again he has uploaded like 3-4 more videos making fun of his dog (which happens to be an animal that feels things and is not a toy). nuff said
thats classic, havent seen anything normal happening in u.s. i mean people there have become so fucking retarded from the products they consume and the huge amount of propaganda they absorb every single day from tv. they cant even operate normally and surely cant define whats good and whats bad. stupid people for real, its not me that support this opinion but their own actions. guess im a bit angry with their stupidity :D but then again thats normal isnt it?
Bullshit, everyone I've ever talked to who has owned a JRT knows they are (the dog) certifiably insane--mine included. She does what she wants to do, refuses to listen and loves to dig to China in any stick of furniture imaginable. She is an escape artist, smarter than hell, and lucky to still be alive. It's creepy that you can actually see her working the problem while she's staring at you, weighing the risks of doing what she wants, regardless of your command to her.
theyre just easily excitable. she thinks the ironing board is a threat and attacks it in the same way she would an animal. Any dog is trainable you just haven't tried hard enough.
I got a Jack Russell, and had her for a year, and I`ve trained her to do mostly anything I say. The only thing I cant train her to do, is growl/bark at people coming to us, or dogs that are female or a few male dogs. They are perfectly trainable, you just need to know how, and not give up.
@sanoriley I own a Jack Russell. I make sure she gets enough exercise, attention etc. and she's the nicest dog in the world. She's never growled outside of a tug of war game, and she NEVER BARKS.
Jack Russells are very energetic dogs, and they are sometimes said to be like this ONLY because this is a common outcome. The reason? Few humans are willing to give their dog what he/she needs.
When they don't get to go ratholing, this is what they do. We breed them for a purpose and they are going to find an outlet somewhere in our indoor lives! Love these crazy pups!
Not all JRTs are like this. Give them exercise, mental stimulation, and a job to do they make wonderful dogs. My JRT is not like this, and I would hardly call him sick
My JRT does the same thing with the vacuum cleaner, the broom. He also leaps 4 feet or more in the air to grab your socks.
There's nothing flawed about them attacking something they see as aggressive. They were bred to respond that way to aggression and fight harder if their prey fights back.
That is too funny! The best breed out there, in my biased opinion! ;-)
And to the person calling her a coward: cowards run away from the things intimidate them...the brave stand up even to what they fear. She looks like a perfectly normal JRT to me (and a darn cute one, at that)! :-D
Our female JRT barks at our ironing board too. But because it is a metal ironing board, we keep her away as she could break her teeth chomping at it. Was that a nice way of calling you irresponsible?
Call me whatever you want. We allowed her this one time to do this to video tape it then threw the ironing board out and bought a plastic one. She didn't break any teeth. Thanks for trying to be nice. We understand your concern as we saw and addressed the potential for injury ourselves.
This crazy dog barks, chases, and attacks anything that squeaks, honks, beeps, bleeps, boinks, bonks, dings or dongs. Thanks for watching and commenting

My childhood miniature fox terrier was also named Trixie :-).
My hubby and I now have full sized 1/2 fox terrier and 1/2 rat terrier.
Same great crazy terrier personality. They are wonderful wacky dogs aren't they ?

What is it with JRT's and housework? My Jack hates ironing and vacuuming, but doesn't mind drying the dishes or taking out the trash once in a while.

Yes, my jrt may be flawed but her imperfection is perfect when measured against many if not most of us.

It's a Russell thing - vacuums, chairlegs, brooms - and if it's mine, best cup your sensitive bits when his blood's up.
