  • Der junge Charsten Schäfer! Der hat ja ganz eine andere Stimme!

  • i am also a avid fan of ultimate warrior.....

  • i remember watching this live..... amazing how young undertaker looks. and what ever happen to paul bearer

  • Fuck me the undertaker is old

  • @dantheman3459 lol yeah I know it, I was 8 years old when this happend.........I am now rounding the bases towards 30 and just saw the Undertaker a couple of months ago wrestle at Wrestlemania. The dude has whooped alot of ass over the years.

  • undertake is the man even hogan got scared and warrior couldnt even take him out

  • There are no German words for "back body drop".

  • @GhostManBrandonDDpre same with bear hug, back breaker, body slam. 4 that matter sgt, slaughter, ultimate, warrior....i need a laugage lesson on why!

  • @highstakesdonk it's not that there aren't words for them, they're just using the english titles. dur?

  • The german commets were boring if you mess them with the Original from America. Spain.. everything was better than Germany.

  • FEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL ULTIMATE POWERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like wrestling but this match is sooooo fake and i dont like using the f word and the names are so big u warrior vs the sarge

  • ultimate warrior is my favorite wrestler in the wwf history!

  • WOW! Check the gimmicks here!! 1 - The red and yellow super hero 2 - a barbarian 3 - a soldier 4 - a deadman What do we have today? 1 - Guy in trunks (w/ 2 elbow pads) 2 - Guy in trunks (w/ 0 knee pads) 3 - Guy in trunks (1 leg short/1 leg full tights) 4 - Oh, another guy in trunks. 80's and 90's were the time of PROPER heroes + villains!
  • Ach! Die wippen und der clothesline! Himmel, der Sergeant taken zee dreadful beating. But ein rake der zee eyes turns zee tablen!

  • I think it's German, well it sounds like German.

  • My bet is in Germany.

  • oje,....alles gut,..aber schaltet diesen deutschen kommentar ab!!! der hat mich damals schon genervt,...und nu is 2010!!! auf englisch is alles gut!

  • its from germany, the station was called tele 5. only station during that time (except euro sports) that had a wwf show going. tele 5 doesnt exist anymore today

  • como se dejo ganar warrior x el jeton del sargento?

  • I liked Percy Pringle better than Paul Barer.

These announcers are from Germany. I like how he called Undertaker "Herman Munster".

  • uh sike junior... wrestling had respect and it wasnt a joke like todays jokers

  • thats kinda sad tho. You have a native american wanna be fighting general patton for christsake

  • Uli Fesseler!!!!

  • LOl..Crazy Azz Warrior was my hero :P. I loved this guy so much, he had me maiing a banner and show it in front of the tv...whahahaha. My dad was like: Boy, get the heck outta here with that thing. Sluaghter was one mean guy 2, loved him.

  • Warrior was sooo much smaller after he stopped taking roids

  • WARRIOR ROCKS !!!

  • lol the commentator calls the undertaker Herman Munster at 7.36

  • I thought that's what I heard. That was pretty damn funny.

  • Actually he said about the undertaker's look: "Hermann munster is nothing compared to this."

  • Another classic match

  • What country is this from? You NEVER see those stats charts at the beginning on US shows like you see for Warrior at the 5 second mark, not to mention what their real life name is!

  • Germany

  • The US probably don't care about the facts ... they're just interested in "the show".

  • damn right

  • smartest thing i heard all year!!

  • I just love how the undertaker was booked, so strong wouldn't fall down..never injured nothing phased the guy. Brilliant, you'd never see that kind of consistent and dedicated booking today.

  • love the comontary.

  • I wanted the sergeant to pin the Warrior in this match. The fact that Taker was at ringside to interfere made everything so much funnier.

  • que grande el ultimo guerrero,es injusto lo que han hecho con el. podria estar en el ring tranquilamente

  • what ever happen to the good ol days of WWF now they have these halfed assed wrestlers on the WWE now

  • lol ur being biased...the majority of the wrestlers nowadays are highly trained, i'm a fan of both eras being that i've been watchin wwf/wwe since 91, but i definitely don't agree with ur comment

  • I thought the Undertaker would have given the tombstone to both Warrior and the Hulkster. Then again, those two would not have fit in the casket together.

  • undertaker loos like a buffed up verison of shaun slater eastenders

  • Is it me or do Carsten Schäfer und Uli Fesseler never sound suprised when something exciting happens? No doubt Vince McMahon on commentary wet himself when Taker popped out the coffin on the american soundtrack. These guys commentated like they were talking after the event (which they were).

I live in the uk but remember this channel, it was a good place to see a lot of wwf and wcw that wasnt shown in the uk. They used to show wcw pay per views for free.

  • Funny fact box there at the beginning, inserted, appartently by German television. His real name, age, birthplace and everything...you'd never see that on American television.

  • what sort of a bear hug is that with a massive gap between the two chests...

  • The warrior may have been a bad wrestler, but the impact that he had for those 3-5 years will never be bettered. For me the best ever.

  • ultimate warrior won undertaker if u guys know

    i saw the match before

  • Fuckoff that dvd was out to ruin the guy anyone with @least half a brain in their head knows that. Warrior was prolly the only guy to take Vince all the way .... everyone else was & still are shit scared of Vince cause he's a powerfull guy, Vince knew the money to be made from the Warrior the crowed reaction itself says that Warrior gave him the big & Fuck You*

  • Slaughter was always a good wrestler for "the long haul." Warrior overwhelmed him at first. However, the "sarj" soon fought him back very well.

As soon as the casket appeared at ringside, I knew Warrior would be in for trouble with "Taker." How many times did they wrestle each other. Did they ever pin each other? The Undertaker looked much stronger to me.

  • Warrior & Undertaker wrestled many times throughout the country in house shows. One match can be found on the Coliseum Video Rampage 91. They also had a series of Bodybag matches, one of which took place in 7/91 in MSG (I have it on tape). Warrior won all the bodybag matches they had across the country by zipping the Undertaker in the bag. He won the Rampage 91 match by DQ.

  • The "house" matches could be very different than what was broadcast. I saw a WWF event only one time in my life...

Overall, it seems that the Undertaker and Warrior were evenly matched. Otherwise, how could the Warrior win those bodybag matches?

  • It's possible Warrior won at least one match by pinfall too since Tito Santana & Hulk Hogan each pinned Undertaker before Hogan's match at Tuesday in Texas (Tito's match is on Youtube & the Hogan match is on Hulkamania Vol. 6 by Coliseum Video).

Strengthwise, Warrior is definitely stronger as he slammed Andre (only guy other than Hogan to do it) & press slammed Hogan (who weighed 303 lbs at the time) above his head. Undertaker was given the push in 1991 & no-sold moves done on him.

  • I was stunned when Tito Santana surprisingly beat the Undertaker. I believe he used his flying elbow attack. It was clever and so very effective. Trying to match upper body strenth would not have worked. Santana just used speed and agility.

  • tito used the undertaker and bearer's urn and crack taker over the head with it. i was shocked to see that to but since it wasnt in the us and not televised im not bothered by it as much. since they mainly go by televised, video or ppv match win loss records. its almost as if the defeat to tito and to the warrior in the bodybag match meant nothing

  • Ultimate Warrior was the greatest of all-time. Just ask Hulk Hogan in Wrestlemania VI.

Warrior beat practically everyone who was thrown at him.

  • "He beat practically everyone who was thrown at him"...You do know that these matches have a pre-determined outcome, right? A genuine wrestler could defeat Hellwig or Hulk Hogan or Triple H in two minutes.

  • A genuine wrestler like kurt angle.

  • Warrior isn't exactly a good wrestler. With limited movesets, he can only work short matches. However, the energy and character really sell well.

  • He was liked because he got the crowd and his fans in to it in kind of the same way as Hulk Hogan, but no, The Warrior had VERY limited moveset and relied on his opponents to make the match interesting mostly by beating the tar outta him so he could do a come-back).

  • I disagree with this because his best matches were long ones. His match with Rick Rude at Summerslam 89 was a long one & a great one where both wrestlers sold each other's moves and worked hard. The same with his match against Hogan in Wrestlemania 6 & the Career Match against Savage in Wrestlemania 7 (I still say that match vs. Savage was the best ever Warrior match). That match went over 30 minutes and really showed that the Warrior could last very long in a match.

  • anybody that thinks the ultimate warrior was a great wrestler doesn't know much about the ultimate warrior, just watch the dvd that was release not to long ago about him. It'll open your eyes

  • legend

  • Warrior is the ultimate legend in the history of professional wrestling........

  • God damn, Undertaker was the shit!

  • where is this from? The WWF would never admit to there being other promotions or that a wrestler had a past.

But then I see they did on the profile??

  • german tv :)

  • Queens, NY. I heard he lived in Sunnyside & heard rumors about him training at the American Physique gym that is down the street from me. He also had an autograph session at Strike Zone (a baseball card & comics store) in Astoria, Queens on 5/19/96, though he was living in Arizona by then. I got to meet him that day & was right behind him when they closed the store as he was heading towards the limo. It was very hot that day, but definitely worth waiting on line.

  • A classic

  • cool how they showed a profile with his gimmicks from other promotions.

  • german tv :)

  • people who slag warrior off totally miss the point. to me, a kid at the time, warrior was my total hero.

it's the same for kids today with john cena.

  • oh my god, how could you mention cena and warrior in the same sentance. (even though i did just now)

Warrior was and still is the most exciting wrestler alive. LOD for best tag team though

  • I totally agree man. The Ultimate Warrior and LOD will never be matched again.

  • .... not that my mentioning Cena and Warrior in the same sentence meant i thought they were equals.

Fuck you for trying to make it appear i meant it that way.

  • Warrior's on a different level then Cena. Warrior was actually an over babyface that could sell out arenas.

  • @Lannis32 Warrior is on a different level than Cena and its not a higher level. Cena is 10x better than Warrior. Warrior has no mic skills or ring skills and he thinks hes the greatest wrestler of all time just because hes never agreed to lose a clean match. If Cena was around in the 80s he would be way more popular than Warrior but its become a fad to hate world champions these days even Samoa Joe

  • @Lannis32 warrior better than cena just because there was no such thing as smarks in the 80s? ha thats cute

  • Ultimate Warrior and Hogan led the Glory Years of the 80's and despite some of the comments from geek YouTube users they were very good wrestlers and trained very hard,I bet half the people who posted these comments could do what they do.

  • so true, warriors had his style and he worked it very well, he was a powerhouse, those who slag his style should really look at other fights from that era

  • it's weird that german tv gave away warrior's identity with that opening profile. north american tv would never break kayfabe like that...

  • I HAVEN'T SEEN him to fight before but one thing is sure-he was a showman

  • the ultimate warrior really had zero wrestling ability. Clotheslines and bodyslams were his whole game. But all the biggest wrestlers had no talent, Hogan, warrior, Andre....

  • u no life gimp, ultimate warrior was the best wrestler ever!

  • Great reply TGC, way to prove your point you retard. How was The Ultimate Warrior a good "wrestler" in any way? If you really feel that way it just proves how little you actually know about wrestling....All he ever did is bodyslam people, he had no ability to perform actual wrestling maneuvers....thanks for calling me a gimp though, your mom doesnt seem to mind me you British fuck, hahaha

  • he was a fantastic performer and entertainer who got the crown really fired up, he body slammed, gorilla pressed, flying clothes lined and ultimately destroyed u and u were worthless family last time he flushed his shit away down the toilet

  • Anyways, Warrior was thousand times better than Hogan. If u had seen some of his tag team matches along with Savage before SSlam 1992 u wd hv seen him do a double ddt, at SSlam 1989 a german suplex. But hogan sticks to his suckish moves.I bet hogan never used a piledriver in the 1990s while warrior did it even to taker at 1991 house shows.

  • wrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong he piledrived through the 80's .. and is capable of much much more.. you just didn't do your homework, thats why u don't know any of this.

  • he is still the stand out name of the 80's alongside hogan. i think if he was a technical wrestler it would have lessened his appeal. he used his abilities to their fullest like every good wrestler does. rely on your strengths.

  • Sadly, I have to agree, a bunch of the "popular" superstarts have/had very little or no actual wrestling ability. But there are a few great performers out there. apparently TGC1000 really has no idea how lousy of an "in-ring" competitor

the Ultimate Warrior really was. Although I can't deny that he was a good entertainer.

  • I wonder how much Sheik hated portraying an Iraqi soldier alongside an Iraqi wrestler, considering he's from Iran.

  • 7:35 "Herman Munster"

  • he said, that how the taker look at the warrior was more freightened than herman munster :)

  • THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS!

I would considder this one of the rarist wwf videos EVER! Do you have the one where Hogan gets put out by The earthquake on the Brother Love show?

  • Ah, Ring Frei auf Tele 5 mit Carsten Schäfer und Uli Fesseler. Das waren noch Zeiten.

  • allerdings :)

  • Who got some other matches between Undertaker and Warrior?

  • That's the Same Casket Before when The Undertaker he Attack The Ultimate Warrior in the Funeral Parlor

  • can you post there title match from the rumble please

  • no he's nothing like is was back then. now a days, he gets hit and sells moves so easily than when he did back then lol. He's still strong though, cause he definately beat down those masked guys muhammed hassan had after him, with ease.

  • i have never seen Undertaker look this fierce before...he looks really mad...clothesline doesn't effect at all...wow...imagine if he is like that now...

  • The Undertaker really looked like a heel back then. The look on his face really worked well for his persona & the Undertaker character. Also if you watch the Funeral Parlor where he attacked the Warrior, you'll see Paul Bearer talk in a much fiercer/creepier way than the high pitched voice he later used. I think they should have stuck with that style since he sounded much more like a heel.

But Undertaker was being seriously built up, so part of that was not selling Warrior's or Hogan's moves.

  • Sheesh. Inagine Hogan not able to do anything with his belt and Warrior using his shoulder to knock undertaker

  • yea it must have been like on saturday nights main event. I definately remember this now. It was funny seeing hulk come out and trying to hit taker with that belt and looking at him funny lol

  • hey i remember this, it was back in 91 right?

  • yes

  • I love the Ultimate Warrior. This match brings back memories of how great wrestling was long ago. Bring the warrior back...we love you!

  • i haven't this match in 17 years thank you after some many requests don't let WWE find out i don't want to see you account go away be careful.
