  • Very happy to see this - I was on a long retreat with Dandy and definitely wish more people had access to options like that for slowing down and refocusing on what's most important. I don't believe she's blaming the country - I think she's pointing out what people say is increasingly happening - over-stimulation and less connection. Interesting to see other people's comments.

  • Good film, well edited.

  • If you don't know how to relax blame it on yourself not the whole nation.

  • Why does she have a green dress? I dont get that.

  • 1/3rd disliked this video. Can't blame them. Since who ever votes YES WE CAN for this video must be Anti-American. I voted YES "we can and should stop" not because I'm Anti-American, but because America is striving agaisnt God and I'm with God. !:-)

  • This was done amazingly 5*s seriously. Who ever disliked i'd like to slap

  • Damn, this is edited well.

  • Damn, this thing is edited well.

  • That's not America, it's called the city.

  • Wow

  • Contemporary America is fast. If you allow external stimulation to control your emotions you may very well be represented in this short video. However, the need for speed grows out of experimenting with new ideas that educate, entertain, and cause a dialogue to naturally happen between all age groups who are interested in what other people do and feel. The world is not about the individual life as much as it represents the collective spirit of our era. This is one of many ways to show stress.

  • omg

american women has so ugly voice

  • What's the chubby woman doing in the video?

  • I agree we just have to slow down and stop all the distractions, so we can see what is really there and do something constructive to make a change. We are all responsible to the world we find ourselves in. Now we have to find our purpose and take actions to make changes.

  • Oh, that's what I'm thinking about like every day...

  • женщины...

  • OMG, SOCIALIST!!!!!

  • interesting..

  • Im all in for technological advancement. But we humans must slow down. And its our responsibility.

  • @Atamv Yeh i agree...Look whats happened in the last 10 years.... Imagine how lifes gonna be in 10 years....fuck. without going into detail We are SCREWED!

  • @Atamv Slow down? In what way and how?

  • @LordNazgulKing Mostly meant, mentally. Slow down and contemplate on things. Not just rush everything with no time to think. Personally i know a few people who are so extremely social and really popular and successful in life. But when i have discussions with them they rarely dare/want to talk about more philosophical and existential questions. Something i consider to be the very foundation of a humans mind. Some of them even claim to "never have thought about it"

  • @Atamv

Это германский менталитет. Приезжай в Россию :), мы рассуждать любим больше, чем действовать :)

  • @idontknowwhatnicktou Why is this the german mentality? And why do you love to talk more than act?

  • @Atamv

You've got a bit incorrect translation. germanic, not german. And рассуждать is closer to "think audibly in conversation" than to "talk".

On 1st q: just watching traits, history and some decisions of different germanic (by language) people,I draw a conclusion that they (compared to other europeans) tend to be pragmatic, analytically minded individualists, who prefer just to do, when it is clear enough what to do. I may be wrong, ofc.

    On 2nd q: I don't know. kinda national trait

  • @idontknowwhatnicktou

just to surprise you: Except for driving fast, we germans love slowing things down and give them the attention certain things deserve (look at our bureaucracy we got. Proof enough?)

  • @gajustempus

    Ох, нам бы вашу бюрократию...

Я, говоря про германский менталитет, имел ввиду не "slow down", а "talk about more philosophical and existential questions"

    гугл сосёт

a bit more correct translation of what I've written here:

oh, I wish we had your bureaucracy ...

When I spoke about the germanic mentality, I meant not "slow down", but "talk about more philosophical and existential questions"

  • @idontknowwhatnicktou I used google translate, and its not known to give the most accurate translation when it comes to words that have different meanings. :)

Even tho i didnt expect or meant for you to give me such an elaborate description about these things im still happy you did. And if the majority of your people share your view on responsible contemplation and philosophy before careless acting i hope it will spread!

  • Lekker wijf.

  • yeah interesting job! Like it.

  • I prefer the speediness of everything in America to the drag-feet never-ending bank holiday mentality of the British.

  • weak. this is on the shortlist. wow.

  • @keukadog you dont get it u dumb fuck...She Died....U didnt hear the Horn?

  • @SuntzuMocro hahah nice brain

  • [2] more faster, more heartbit will make stop fast. that's our destiny

  • I think we all feel pretty much like this during some moments in life....The quick scenes, continues talk describing feelings and the "stop" at the end, transmit the feeling of not being able to avoid or stop whatever is happening...Great idea!

    Comment from Montevideo,Uruguay, SouthAmerica

  • Now that's telling it like it is! Awesome job.
