This is clear animal abuse. Folks can argue forever about the ethics (or perceived lack thereof) involved in live feeding, but you have no business owning a snake if that's the habitat. An empty 10 - 20 gallon long tank is far from suitable housing; I get the feeling you only bought a snake "cuz it's cool," and didn't bother to do any actual reading. The snake is suffering far more than any mice you've fed it...
