Shaping guitar fingernails - Video 5 of 6 - Index finger nail

some one told me that one should only file nails in ONE direction. What do you think. It was mentioned that when one files in both directions the is a danger that the nail splits.

@Paulinajtking I have not heard of this before. That may be the case with some people's nails, but I have not experienced this problem myself with my own nails.

@robicool hmm i think there is a way to grow your nails faster, a friend of mine recommended and I think it helps. Drink fish oil which comes in form of pills, which are orangeish. :) I hope it helps you!

i think the right nail tuning increases the playability about at least 30%. respect!
