I heard this when it came out years ago about 3 or 4 in the morning. It was so haunting and beautiful but never knew the name or the artist.  Only recently while watching her and Alexander O'Neal on 'Unsung' did I recall and now it's part of my playlist on my Ipod. Beautiful song.

feather0926 make no mistake about it. In my view, Cherrelle was one of the most underrated artist of this era. Unfortunately, big names like Prince, MJ, Janet and others ended up overshadowing so many good acts. There weren't nearly as many video channels and stuff like Youtube to be heard on. Finally, there was a thing called payola that still exist today. You gotta bribe, party and sleep with the right folks just to be heard. Great comment! Cherrelle was first class to me sound, looks all.
